The five-vote majority needed in the Supreme Court to overturn Roe v. Wade and Planned Parenthood v. Casey remains intact months after Supreme Court Justice Samuel Alito's leaked draft majority opinion was written, according to a report.
The leaked draft majority opinion penned by Alito is dated Feb. 10 and has almost certainly changed multiple times in the almost three months since it was written, but three conservative sources close to the court say that the votes supporting the decision remain unchanged, according to reporting from the Washington Post.
The justices set to join Alito's opinion include Clarence Thomas, Neil Gorsuch, Brett Kavanaugh, and Amy Coney Barrett.

You just knew that backstabbing weasel Roberts was working behind the scenes to throw a wrench into this. I predict Kavanaugh caves. He has been a disappointment - especially after what they did to him!

I’m with SecondAmendment on this. There have long been rumors that Roberts’ international adoption wasn’t quite kosher. I don’t know if it’s that or they have something else on him, but starting with ObamaCare, I think it became fairly clear that it was more likely than not that forces beyond the court walls were controlling Roberts.
If one of them switches.. they will justify it as happening in the course of the normal ‘deliberative process’ of the Court. The media will all join in a chorus to praise the bravery of the vote switcher... who ‘stood up’ to the ‘intimidation of the right-wing mob.’

Maybe true! However, I don’t see how anybody would these days get that upset about it. (Remember FR attitudes and not the attitudes of the modern “unwashed masses!”) Embarrassing yes but he could counter by saying I did it to have children and for my wife. (Doing “It-for-the-children” the universal reason for all things!) People might grumble but would over time (about 6 weeks!) forgive & forget. Certainly not remove him over it! (Anyway, those kids are near adults now!) Even the gay rumors in this day and age wouldn’t get him removed if proven. He might not even be that embarrassed, he could make a readily acceptable to the modern “world” excuse and all would be forgotten. (It would be a resume enhancer in this “oh-so-modern-world”!)
I see nothing there that would grab on to him in such a way that would make him that malleable!
I am not defending him. I just don’t see how that would him someone’s grip.

Roberts is a self-described practicing Catholic, but just like the Church itself under the reigning Pontiff, when it comes to any issue contrary to modernist doctrine, he’s right there with the radical left, just another anti-life, Socialist Democrat.
Roberts will do everything in his power to stick another knife in the back of conservatives, on that you can rest assured.

I don’t know how but it’s obvious Roberts is comprised in some way, and after this, I won’t be surprised if he announces his retirement before the start of the next term.

comprised = compromised. But yes, he came on board as a conservative and a practicing Catholic, i.e., one who adheres to the fundamental teachings of the Church. Turned out he was neither one.
