Like it did on Trump for 2020?
Yes, the impeachment muddied up Trump among the suburb class and it was enough to allow cheating in 5 cities to secure the win for Biden, so yes.
His strength is as an executive, not a legislator. It would be a terrible move. He has enough excess baggage as it is. In any event, he may milk this idea but ultimately will pass on it, imho.
We would need to elect a whole new Republican contingent to Congress.

That’s what I thought the rats were going to do with Hillary.
It fails at point two as well, since representatives aren’t likely to elect an outsider Speaker any more than the Democrats want the riots they encourage coming to their own neighborhoods. However much people want to be “Disruptors” these days, they don’t want their own routine to be disrupted and they don’t want to be upstaged in their own House.
If people would actually think, instead of emotions, that would be the best of all. I would love to watch what the hell the nazicRATS would do if Trump became speaker and DeSantis became POTUS.
