I have recently observed a number of companies either create or alter their policies regarding pronoun use. I find that much of this change is coming directly from HR departments full of SJW. Many of these changes are problematic for people of faith. My company recently announced a "Global Pronoun Policy" and I felt that I needed to push back against this effort to validate the LGBTQ+ community by the use of pronouns. In an effort to push back against the "powers that be", I am providing a synopsis of the email that I sent to both the legal and...

Question / thought exercise for the Freeper community: Assume that the DOL mandate for vaccine applies to your organization. Also assume that an employee has a medical condition that is documented and contra indicates getting any of the current EUA vaccines or even the approved vaccine. If there is a work requirement to get the vaccine, and the employee is unable to get the vaccine, would that be a disability? Could the employee "go out" on either short term or long term disability? The employee pays for the disability insurance.

Sort of a PSA intended for those that have already had Covid, or suspect that they have, and cleared the sickness. There is now a way via testing to demonstrate that you have the immunization via T-cell testing.

The GOP has shown that it does not have the spine for a fight. So I propose that it is now time for a new party. Lets reconstitute the Tea Party as a formal political party.

I was just thinking that with thousands dying from Covid, that the pressure on Social Security should be lessening. Has anyone seen an analysis?

Just wondering out loud. Do you think that President Trump will have enough "coat tails" to help the GOP flip 20 house seats? If he can, then a lot of this impeachment BS goes away, at least for a couple of years.

I have been informally tracking the mortality rate of Covid-19 by dividing the number of reported deaths by the number of confirmed cases. I see a trend developing that is concerning. I have been seeing the percentage increasing over time. When I started tracking, the rate was down around 2.8%. It has slowling been increasing and now it is around 4.8%.

The U.S. Department of Homeland Security (DHS) has today issued an "emergency directive" to all federal agencies ordering IT staff to audit DNS records for their respective website domains, or other agency-managed domains, within next 10 business days. The emergency security alert came in the wake of a series of recent incidents involving DNS hijacking, which security researchers with "moderate confidence" believe originated from Iran. Domain Name System (DNS) is a key function of the Internet that works as an Internet's directory where your device looks up for the server IP addresses after you enter a human-readable web address (e.g.,...

Any Walther CCP M2 owners out there willing to provide a review? Wife is considering it as her CCW gun. She has a elbow injury that reduces her hand strength. This was the only 9mm she could rack comfortably. She does not like the feel of Glocks. She did like Sig but can only manage the .380 pocket pistols. Revolvers will only be considered if there is no pistol that meets her needs. Her work area is starting to get rough but until the doctor's office moves (she is the office manager), she really needs to carry.

A reminder to Colorado voters regarding the retention of Court of Appeals justices. Every single of them, in a unanimous decision, voted to uphold the Colorado 15 round magazine ban. The stated reason was that the State's interests in reducing mass shootings exceeds your rights

Looking to replace my truck's tires. Background I inherited my truck from by brother-in-law who lifted a GMC Sierra 2500 HD. Tires that are currently equipped are 325-65-18. To replace the 4 tires, I am looking at about $1,400 out the door. Truck is now mostly city with the occational trail driving, no real off road. So I am happy with all terrain / mud and snow but narrower than 325. -IF- I can keep the cost of the replacement rims and tires below $300 combined ... I figure I would come out ahead.

I am the Infantry! I am the Infantry–Queen of Battle! For two centuries I have kept our Nation safe, Purchasing freedom with my blood. To tyrants, I am the day of reckoning; to the suppressed, the hope for the future. Where the fighting is thick, there am I… I am the Infantry! FOLLOW ME! I was there from the beginning, meeting the enemy face to face, will to will. My bleeding feet stained the snow at Valley Forge; my frozen hands pulled Washington across the Delaware. At Yorktown, the sunlight glinted from the sword and I, begrimed… Saw a Nation...

My son got his SAT pre-test results back and he has a little bit of work ahead of him. Did ok on English but needs to brush up on his math. Overall score was a 960, so I am looking for recommendations as to a course of study for the summer. He is going to be a senior next year, and currently is a 2.9 / 3.0 student. He will be taking his SAT in spring of 2018.
