I’m guessing it was a part-timer student that worked in that building. He set up the rifle ahead of time, locked the door to the roof, police conduct security check and it’s clear, then he goes up on the roof with keys. He then tosses the rifle off the roof as he runs away.

A pro would have probably dropped it there, and a pro probably would take all four shots before running.

Similar to Crowder’s ATF/FBI doc disclosure this morning. They recovered a 3006 with one fired shot and three loaded but unfired. The bolt didn’t eject the cartridge, so I’m sure the FBI have determined it’s the weapon through ballistics.

I think they’d immediately be able to determine if the rifle was just fired by checking the bolt. I also don’t think anyone would fire another gun there and drop it as a decoy.

I’m thinking that thirty ought is the weapon.

I wouldn’t be surprised if he was janitorial or other staff and had keys.

If that 3006 was the rifle, I’m sure ballistics can find immediately if that were the gun. Everyone’s spazzing out about it being Israel or some grand plot, but the trans people wanted him dead far more.

This lends credence to Steve Crowder’s doc that said it was a 30-06 with bullets remaining showing anti-fascist anti-”transphobe” writing on the cartridges. Only one shot was fired and the casing remained in the chamber, so I’m sure ballistics can determine very quickly that the rifle was the gun used. Shooter said to be college age.
