This should be fair warning to any Conservative who is contemplating running in any future election. If they don’t have the facts, they’ll make them up. If they don’t have a source, they’ll make one up. Either way, they will post the lie/liar on front page/headline news, and post the retraction as an “oh, by the way” or bury it on page 12 of the liberal rag it was first printed on.

  • Interview with Judge Judy (she is saddened by Prop 8 passage, Arkansas adoption/foster care law)

I’m saddened by Judge Judy’s comments. It’s like saying that the American People, in exercising their right to vote, can only vote a certain prescribed way. I live in Arkansas and voted for the ballot initiative that stated no same-sex couple could adopt a child or foster parent a child.

I also believe in the definition of marriage being between opposite sexes. The only natural parentage is via heterosexuals. When same sex couples can procreate without the use of artificial methods, then I may change my views. It’s not being intolerant. I don’t want marriage redefined and I don’t want normal parentage redefined. I certainly hate to think of a child raised in a homosexual family being taught that it was not only normal to be homosexual, but that homosexuality is the norm and heterosexuality is the abnorm, and that’s what you’d have. IMHO.

It won’t shut up the ignorant folks who say we’re Racist, simply because he is 1/2 black. Now they’ll say were 1/2 racist until they get a full fledged African American with no white DNA into the Oval office. The Oreo Cookie quip was really good.

    Day after Day after

    NASDAQ -44.12 -2.62% and dropping

    S&P 500 -28.80 -3.02% and dropping

Are you still not getting the Drift? Here’s a hint. This will impact very little those who are going to receive the welfare checks. As far as IRAs and 401Ks, you can kiss them goodbye for a long time. I’m holding out, but it won’t be pretty.

I don’t know who his final picks will be, but I can assure you that if he picks a Senator or a Representative to serve in his cabinet, it will be from a state whose governor is Democrat. That way, the balance of power is not reduced by replacing a Democratic Senator/Representative with a Democrat. Watch and see. The Senate will more than likely be 56/44 DEM/REP. It wouldn’t suprise me to see him select a Republican from a state that has a Democratic Governor. If he selected 4 Republicans (and they accept)that way, the Senate will have a filibuster proof majority without an election.

That’s really a shame. The man was brilliant. I enjoyed his books like Jurrasic Park, Sphere, Congo, Eaters of the Dead (13th Warrior), all great movies (except they could’ve handled Congo a little better, the book was way way better than the movie. I didn’t read the books, but I enjoyed the movies of his books including The Andromeda Strain, The Terminal Man, The Great Train Robbery, Twister, Westworld, Coma, Looker, Runaway, Rising Sun, and Disclosure.
Seems like I have alot of his books left to read and am looking forward to it.

The 18 million idiot liberals that wanted Hillary to be president can now kiss that dream goodbye. By 2012 she will be a nobody, or at least as much hated as those who hated Bush because what the DEM congress will do.

So, let me get this straight. If a person votes for McCain, according to you, he’s a racist succumbing to the Bradley effect. However, if 98% of Blacks vote for Obama because he is, at least, partially African American and McCain isn’t, then it’s not Racism. Pleeeeeaaaase!

I had heard Joe Lieberman for some sort of high cabinet position. I know Joe is loyal to McCain, but he is Ind/Dem. Perhaps an ambassordship for him.

Let’s not forget Oliver North people. He belongs in a high profile cabinet position. Of course, the Senate Confirmation will be tough for him, but wouldn’t he be great as National Security Advisor or even Secretary of Defense. I’d vote for him.

No one will get a Tax Cut. I repeat, No one!
He is offering Tax Credits, but the Bush Tax Cuts end in January 2010, However, the DEM Congress is poised to repeal them immediately. He will revert back to the Clinton Taxes which, if you remember, he (Bill Clinton) just couldn’t produce the Tax Cuts he had promised in his campaign. The Credits will be added to all those who receive Unearned Income Credit Money (~40%) who basically don’t pay taxes. That is all!

Unfortunately, the article does not go far enough. Obama has virtually said the same thing about Nuclear Energy by his statements he was pro-Nuclear as long as there was a proven safe way to dispose of the Nuclear Waste”, which in his mind excludes Yucca Mountain and basically kills that industry within 5 years. Forget about the 40+ New Nukes that would significantly reduce our dependence on foreign oil from despotic America hating governments. He will kill both Coal and Nuclear. He wants only Solar and Wind. Of course, when it’s calm and it’s dark outside, neither will help much. His plan to build new hybrid cars that run on electricity is hampered by the fact that there isn’t enough Electrical production to support massive manufacturing of those types of vehicles either. Airlines, Trains and trucking, as well as automobiles, rely heavily on hydrocarbons, and Electrical Grids rely heavily on Nuclear and Coal. Shows where we’re headed if he wins. Let us Pray!

He’s afraid McCain/Palin are lifting the edges of the carpet he has his garbage swept under. After Tuesday, he doesn’t have to worry about it. Either he’s Prez, and he’s untouchable, or he’s back to Senator, as dead as Gore, Kerry, and maybe even Hillary.

    Because
    1. They have an axe to grind
    2. As part of the elite, they feel that under socialism, they would be the in charge or rubbing elbows with those that are
    3. They are wed or socialize with liberal men/women of like ilk
    4. They have too much time on their hands and are constantly looking for causes which fill their lives
    5. They’ve already made their wealth and can afford lawyers/Accountants that help them dodge their obligations

    IMHO

  • MCCAIN SURGES AMONG YOUNG VOTERS

    steelydan to LegalEagle61

I’m a McCain voter and I can believer over 65 are voting for Obama. Stands to reason. Over 65 are drawing out of their retirement plans, many of which were tied up in the Stock Market which lost $3 Trillion in value. It doesn’t hurt younger voters as much because they have a chance to recover those losses if they don’t withdraw from their 401K’s or IRA’s (for early retirees) who are still working. A lot of over 65 voters, because of this, are angry that their retirements are dwindling faster now. For those over 65, that are not big losers in the Market (who don’t have IRA’s or Mutual Funds), bring in less so they stand to receive a check under BHO’s plan since they make less than (in most cases) I’ll estimate about $40-50K. Problem is, I don’t believer BHO will deliver on those promises, no DEM ever has in the last few presidencies.

Problem is, pollsters have Obama something like 50-35% against McCain. It would be nice if CA went McCain way, that would eliminate having to win some of the contentious Obama leaning Red States. I wouldn’t place bets on that however, CA is very Liberal.

It has been my contention that Obama’s trip to Hawaii included a side trip or plea to governor Lingle (R) of Hawaii to seal his COB. Immediately after his trip, his COB was sealed and made unavailable. The question remains...Why? Is someone trying to usurp the constitution? What’s next. Abolishment of Electoral College, which has long been a contention of DEMS (remember Gore, who won popular vote but lost Electoral College). DEMS would prefer to have large (usually DEM states) elect the president. Hmmm. Just observations.

I’m from Arkansas, already voted Absentee, and can guarantee a McCain/Palin victory there, despite it being heavily democratic. Northwest and West Arkansas are Redder than Red, and even more so because they are angry at Senator Redistributor.

Come on Folks, let’s get some of those swing states involved in the resurgence. I like what I hear from Florida, and even Pennsylvania is in play. I know McCain/Palin will probably not get NY, CA nor MI, but we need those George Bush (fly-over) states to rally for McCain/Palin.
