I have started walking for exercise again since crashing my motorcycle several weeks ago. Been throwing in a little running, but not too much until my knee heals all the way.

I got this movie as a gift for my father. It is one of his favorite movies and definitely one of mine, also.

I keep in contact with a kid who rode with my sportbike group. He enlisted and has been in the thick of it in Iraq. I got news of the death of his Platoon Sergeant today.

Who watched tonight's episode of Over There? It was suprisingly pro-troops, made the media look like agenda driven fools and the insurgents for the blood thirsty savages they are.

A friend of mine, Air Force Sgt. Tina Wells suffered a motorcycle accident at her post in Georgia and was seriously injured. I am requesting Freeper Prayers for her recovery.

What are the most patriotic, flag waving movies?

Sgt Javier Wiengart, returned home for a while on leave. He is the son of a high school friend of mine. The third local kid to be awarded a Purple Heart since our nation went to war. Shane Folmar was the first (he died last year in Iraq) and my daughter Jazz was the second.

Member of another board I frequent made this post regarding the return home of their local National Guard Unit. It was a great welcome for a great bunch of soldiers.

I admire the courage and guts of this kid. I know him only in passing. He and several other Airmen would gather at a local Sonic for our weekend sportbike rides. Great kid, can't help but like him.
