Not at all. It's a great move. What if they didn't halt the busses and there were more incidences such as this? Then everyone would be complaining that they DIDN'T suspend the service. It's better to be safe than sorry.

Also remember that the plane that first crashed into the WTC building wasn't an isolated incident. How many more tragedies did the FAA prevent by immediately grounding all air flights?

Time to drop massive amounts of wanted posters to the people of Afghanistan. That equals out to 4,750,000,000,000 Afghani bucks. Nice chunk of change. A LOT of needy people over there, including thousands of those in the Taliban army. Once the word gets around to the people, I'll give Osama 24 hours, that is if he's lucky to last that long.

We've been hearing of an attack "within days" for the past few weeks. I guess this is fine and dandy as the enemy must be as confused as we are for when an attack will be coming!

The Islamic Committee for Palestine was mentioned in the video above as being a money raiser for Islamic Jihad. They showed video of their old headquarters in Tampa Florida, and said they relocated to "an undisclosed location" in the Tampa area.

This video is about 6 years old. Does anyone know if this group still exists in the country? If so, can any freepers provide their main headquarters address? (out of curiosity), I am interested to know if they are still in the Tampa area. Thanks.

The extremists have had cells in this country for years, including Hamas and Hezbollah! That is really scary, and the clips of the Brooklyn Islamic recruiting are really pathetic. That was amazing seeing them preach their hatred of the West right here at home. They also mentioned that they identified 30 groups in this country collecting funds for "soft items" such as food, medicine, etc, but were really using the money for weapons and such for their war against the West.

Don't get me wrong, I am all for free speech, but watching these people in Brooklyn, Detroit, and other places in the US say things such as "Death to America", or "Kill them all, anyone that gets in your way", or "There must be widows. There must be orphans", these people need to be exited out of this country ASAP! These people are a threat to all of us. If they hate America so much, it shouldn't bother them much to be shipped back to their native country!

If somebody verbally threatens the presidents life, they will go to jail. The same or even worse should apply here. These people are verbally threatening all of us, (death to America) and I have no doubt they would love to follow up their hatred words with hatred action. I mean, they already have! I hope Bush and his team are really (he seems to be) on the ball with all this. We need to weed out these threats that are existing right in our own borders. ASAP, before they strike again, which I am afraid they will do before most of them are out.

Foxnews just said that one of the hijackers didn't even have to force his way in the cockpit door. They let him in willingly, as a courtesy, when he showed his fake pilot license and he was allowed to sit in the jump seat in the cockpit right from takeoff. They got this info from the flight recorder, and I missed which one. The only flight voice recorder I thought they recovered was the one at the PA crash site. Not sure though.

Wow, that is really screwed up! I wonder if the other hijackers gained entry in a similar fashion?

What really worries me, is if we do get attacked by biological weapons, it could be very hard to identify the attacker. They would be long gone before symptons even occur. How would we retaliate if we don't even know for sure who attacked us? Of course we would have some general ideas on who it was, but there are quite a few terrorist groups and it could be any one of them.

I guess we would just have to attack them all. HARD!

Yea, I remember those good 'ole days ! Actually, I was never a big Neil Young fan or Lennon fan. Back in those days I was listening to Sabbath, Dio, Scorpions, etc... But recently I've taken more of a liking to his (Young) music than in the past. My tastes have changed as my age has gone up, from a heavy metal kinda guy to more of a mellow rock type guy. I also like some of the new alternative stuff...

Well let's just see what happens. I'm glad that they did donate their time to make the fundraising last night possible. The victims could use all the assistance they can get. That is my main concern at this time along with the well being of our armed forces.

The point of the song wasn't to say that nobody should possess anything, or that there should not be any religion. Read the post up above. Lennon himself said what the song means.

Well .30Carbine, you are the one along with others distorting the meaning of how the lyrics were intended. I mean, Lennon himself explained how they were intended and the meaning of them. But that is not good enough, so you have to interpret them into what suits your personal agenda and that seems to be to discredit the fundraising show last night by the liberal entertainers. Some people just can't put aside their political biases in times like this, and that is the sad part.

Now, if when he was asked the meaning of the song, and he replied that it was to promote communism, then that would be a different story. Lennon wasn't one to hide his true feelings, so I will trust his explanation of what the song stood for before trusting those that didn't even write the lyrics!

I am sure with enough effort, I can pick apart just about any song and come up with different meanings than what was intended by the original songwriter.

I wasn't familiar that you have written parody songs, so my apologies to you. You do have every right to do that. I just see so much hypricitical points in this thread. Like the song or not, (which I have noted I really do not care for it), I do not believe in banning it from certain radio stations and I do not believe in censorship. That is wrong, and I am surprised that more people aren't discussing the aspect of that instead of trying to tell us what the song stands for, when Lennon himself said what it means. But I guess direct quotes from the songwriter himself don't matter. Hmmmmmmmm.....
