Everyone understands the concept of self-defense. When one person is attacked by another, he or she may fight back to protect himself or herself from harm. For most people this is self-evident. It is a natural instinct to fight back when attacked. It is also virtuous and just to resist aggression. This applies to countries as well, of course. When one country attacks another, the country being attacked will inevitably respond with military force, even if facing overwhelming odds. Due to current and forthcoming federal policies, Alberta needs to see itself as a community under attack and act accordingly. The...

There is a quiet revolution happening across America and it could mark the beginning of the biggest spiritual, cultural, and political changes this country has seen since the Civil War. New data made public earlier this week by the U.S. Census Bureau makes clear that millions of Americans are leaving Blue high-tax, high-crime, high-COVID-mandate Democratic states and moving to Red Republican states where taxes are lower, the police aren’t being defunded, and churches still thrive. (Snip) Growing populations typically are good news for states, but there are some potential problems, mainly having to do with the question of whether those...

I think it’s a pretty fair bet that the democrats will be handed their a$$es in the 2022 elections. Given that happens, I think there may be an unusual opportunity to change the political dynamic in favor of conservatives. Why: in my time as a former dem, one thing that struck me about how the faction thinks is that they want to win. Ideology is not all that important, winning is. If the hard left tilt that they’re on isn’t working, I think there will be some receptiveness to different strategies. In that respect, populist conservatives running as dems in...

Video captured the moment protesters in Portland cornered police in a garage during riots over the Kyle Rittenhouse verdict. (Snip….but notice this buried further in the article) A group of 40 to 50 'anarchists' tore through the quiet residential neighborhood of Middle Village, damaging property and ripping down American flags, officials said. The middle-class neighborhood in Queens is known as conservative-leaning and sympathetic to the police, making it a ripe target for the ultra-leftist mob venting fury over the Rittenhouse acquittalIn a visit to Middle Village on Saturday afternoon, Mayor-elect Eric Adams slammed the destructive behavior, saying that randomly targeting...

New whistleblower documents suggest Attorney General Merrick Garland lied to lawmakers last month when he denied that the Department of Justice was being weaponized to target concerned parents at school board meetings. Testifying before the House Judiciary Committee in late October, Garland said the agency’s interest in parents was provoked by a letter from the National School Boards Association asking for federal law enforcement to use “domestic terrorism” laws to go after those who are concerned about what is taught in classrooms. “The National School Board Association, which represents thousands of school boards and school board members, says that there...

As the Senate advances on its tax-cut bill while House Republicans have passed their version, MarketWatch has the calculator to show how the bills would potentially impact your finances. The legislation, called the Tax Cuts and Jobs Act, cuts individual tax rates and slashes corporate taxes, among other things. But not everyone’s a winner. The mortgage-interest deduction is limited, and state and local income tax deductions are zapped in both the House and Senate plan. The plan from the upper chamber also eliminates the state and local property tax deduction. The calculator includes the new rates and child-tax credit unveiled...

Press Secretary Sean Spicer responded to these tweets from Matt Drudge during today’s briefing: Republican party should be sued for fraud. NO discussion of tax cuts now. Just lots of crazy. Back to basics, guys! pic.twitter.com/5uHIg8klq6 — MATT DRUDGE (@DRUDGE) February 8, 2017 White House eyeing executive order targeting ‘conflict minerals’ rule… Meanwhile, is Obamacare penalty tax still in place? — MATT DRUDGE (@DRUDGE) February 8, 2017 In response to the question from Breitbart White House correspondent Charlie Spiering, Spicer said there is no stalling going on, arguing that Obamacare is a “mammoth thing to repeal and replace.” And with...

Unsure if you’re ready to take the plunge and cut the cord? The truth is that now is the best time in history to make the call. It seems like every day, there are new reasons to get rid of cable. But in case you aren’t sure what those reasons are, I’ve collected them here, all in one place for you. #1 It’s Easier Than Ever Had you asked me a few years ago if getting rid of cable was feasible, I would have hesitated. But now, well, things are different. It’s easier than it has ever been. All you...

It’s hard to think of Steve Bannon as a low-profile guy. He has garnered about as many headlines over the past week as Donald Trump—no small feat. He is the executive chairman of the hard-right Breitbart News, among the most aggressive voices online, its website an attack machine against Democrats and “establishment” conservatives. President-elect Trump chose Mr. Bannon this week as his chief strategist and senior counselor, a slot usually filed by someone eager to play a presidential surrogate on TV. Yet Mr. Bannon—who joined the Trump campaign in mid-August to propel its thunderbolt victory—professes no interest in being the...

Likely President Trump can wait to address most issues on his agenda until his inauguration on 20 January 2017. One issue will not wait until January –ratification of the Trans-Pacific Partnership Agreement (TPP). Of the many issues of direct interest to Australia, the TPP is the most important and with the likelihood that that the Obama administration will push for ratification of the deal before the end of his term during a four-week period known as a lame-duck session, it is certainly the most immediate. At present passage of the TPP in the United States appears unlikely. The vigorous opposition...

If you’ve looked at the electoral results map, you’ll notice there’s a bit of a stark difference between the red and the blue bits. That massive blue block on the left – encompassing California, Oregon, Nevada and Washington state – stands out quite a bit against all of the red. So it may not be a huge surprise that people living in that Democrat-voting block are now looking at other options – specifically, secession. Since Donald Trump’s electoral victory was first announced, #Calexit has been trending on Twitter, with distraught Californians looking to form their own state.

A California man says a stranger hurled expletives and set his truck on fire Thursday after seeing a pro-Donald Trump sticker on the bumper. Hao Lee had taken his 2-year-old son fishing on a pleasant November afternoon in Sacramento. He parked his white Dodge Ram truck with a pair of Trump stickers on the bumper along Garden Highway. "About a couple hours into fishing I heard someone yelling out 'F' Trump," Lee told KTXL. Lee and his son were only about 50 yards from where his truck was parked, near the edge of the river. Their peaceful fishing trip was...

Zero has noted that the chances of witnessing vote fraud are about the same as being struck by lightning. I guess a lot of us are gonna get zapped. My story: I walk precincts for DJT. We use a program to do that; its linked through a smart phone. It's registered voters. Knocked on one door and was told that the person we were seeking was not in the country legally. Uhhh, so they're an illegal alien and registered to vote? Vote fraud isn't isn't a myth. It's out there and several FReepers have seen it.

(H/T Drudge) Milo Yiannopoulos, an alt-right hero known for his banishment from Twitter, is preparing a bid to acquire his own social media firm: 4chan. Launched in 2003, 4chan is an imageboard Internet site that allows users to post anonymously. Its roots were in anime and manga, though it has evolved into much more and has facilitated some controversy, including allegations that it allows for cyberbullying. The Hollywood Reporter learned that Yiannopoulos, with the help of a wealthy backer, is preparing to approach 4chan owner Hiroyuki Nishimura, a Japanese entrepreneur, with a bid this week.

Full title: UN Commissioner Warns of 'Weaponized' Populism from Wilders, Trump, Farage Turning 'Into Colossal Violence The United Nations' high commissioner for human rights blasted nationalist populists like Donald Trump and Nigel Farage for using "tactics similar" to ISIS to frighten and reel in followers. "The proposition of recovering a supposedly perfect past is fiction; its merchants are cheats," Zeid Ra’ad Al Hussein said Monday. "Clever cheats." Speaking at the Peace, Justice and Security Foundation gala at The Hague, Zeid -- a Jordanian prince married to an American from Texas, global maternal health activist Sarah Butler -- singled out Dutch...

If you caught the lamestream media this morning, the big story was the murder of some fellow of Arab descent who was murdered by their neighbor. Her Thighness deigned to send a letter to the family to express condolences and to make the typical platitudes. My question: so where are the letters for the 52 (mostly black) Americans who were shot last weekend in the democrat controlled enclave of Chicago? Where are the tears and condolences for the 9 Americans who died and the others who were maimed? Of course there was nothing, because Chiraq is a democrat controlled enclave....

I want to congratulate Paul Nehlen on his stunning and victory against Paul "the ryano" Ryan. And not a single vote has been counted yet. For if we measure a winning campaign by how the campaign forces a positive end and result and whether it brings about a more nationalist or conservative reality, then this has been one of the most successful campaigns in recent memory. You can bet that every gop-e twit out there is wondering whether a Paul Nehlen is in their future should they fail to toe the line. It's a beautiful thing. And we should remind...
