A California man says a stranger hurled expletives and set his truck on fire Thursday after seeing a pro-Donald Trump sticker on the bumper.
Hao Lee had taken his 2-year-old son fishing on a pleasant November afternoon in Sacramento. He parked his white Dodge Ram truck with a pair of Trump stickers on the bumper along Garden Highway.
"About a couple hours into fishing I heard someone yelling out 'F' Trump," Lee told KTXL.
Lee and his son were only about 50 yards from where his truck was parked, near the edge of the river.
Their peaceful fishing trip was about to take an abrupt and scary turn.
"After that I heard glass breaking, I called 911 and a couple of minutes later I saw smoke," he said.
Lee said his first concern was the safety of his son, so he decided to stay put, near the water. When the voices and commotion were gone, Lee approached his truck. But it was too late. Flames were shooting out the windows. The truck was a complete loss.
"I didn't think anyone would do this kind of stuff over bumper stickers. It's not right," he said.
Arson investigators with the Sacramento City Fire Department processed the scene for clues.
Police didn't say what, if anything was found in the torched vehicle. They are asking if anyone who saw anything to call (916) 443-HELP.
I’d sport a Don sticker or more but I work for a living and can’t field 24/7 vigils my things.
Maybe they will find the guy and if he is caught, make him pay plus a healthy stretch in the slam.
In California, it was legal to carry a gun while fishing or going to or from fishing.
Last I heard, that law was still in effect.
Based on his name, it sounds like the guy is Asian as well. Close call. If they were Hillary stickers this would be labeled a hate crime and it’d be the lead story on all of the national newscasts.

Unless the culprit almost literally falls into their lap, the Sherriff and police in my county/city don’t even investigate lower level crimes. We get the impression from television shows that they call in CSI for almost everything. You are lucky here if you can get an officer to visit and write a report. And a report is, 99% of the time, all that happens.

Many years ago when I had an angry neighbor debacle, the kook called the sheriff’s department on me since we are county.
He was upset that a wheelbarrow load of pine needles were dumped in front of his yard at the street. Naturally I was the suspect even though we decked the pine trees years ago.
He was flipped out over that too which made dropping them even more enjoyable.
Anyway, I could tell the cop was bummed about having to even be there and also figured out the pine tree angle in a few moments.
I lucked out in another way. The neighbor across the street was home and got wind of what was going on. She explained it has her yard guy. Why he did it, even she didn’t know but she had a few pines.
The cop and the neighbor went over to the kook’s hovel to explain to him what happened.
A few minutes later I saw the cruiser take off with lights and sirens. The neighbor came out and told me that the kook stormed off upstairs since his delusion failed.
If I were going to dump pine needles, I would have done more than that and he’d know it.

The man’s race is no reason for setting his truck on fire. He has the right to express his opinion on who/who should not be president, all because of the First Amendment. Liberals have a VERY SICK mind (or no mind at all). Catch him and make a MAJOR example of what he did, long prison time, huge lawsuit and what ever else can be hung around his neck.
It’s hard to believe that a Californian even in a rustic setting actually thinks he has freedom of speech and expression in that state.

I was having neighbor problems and home owner association problems so I sold my really nice home in my really nice neighborhood and moved to a doublewide in the woods with no neighbors visible. I can’t even see the street. I have never been so happy in my life.
Liberals want us to be all scrunched together so we can live “sustainable, green lifestyles with lots of diversity.” (Gosh, I hate those words. And notice, those who want us to do that live in gated communities and commute in SUV’s.) Well, it’s a long drive into town for supplies, but I don’t have to put up with homeowners associates, nosy neighbors, grass mowing or much of anything. Occasionally a bear raids my garbage.
Clintonista’s are no different than radical Islamist terrorists. They are cowards who set of bombs when no one is looking, and set fire to cars when no one is looking.
