There is a bunch of the families that are not going to take a settlement. The reason they pushed so hard for this commission is they need evidence, because they intend to sue. They need to blame someone.

This commission is something that Dubya should never given in on, he resisted at first. Their report is going to tell us that there was bad intelligence. Surprise, surprise.
The way I see it these women that attend the commission meetings are not accepting a settlement and are looking for information to sue. To sue they need to place blame. It is getting harder and harder to feel sympathy for people that are greedy. I had to turn off Hardball because they were coming on next and I didn't think I could handle it.

I think he has already done that today. I can't think of anyone ever running a campaign like he has. Last week he takes a week off to vacation and today he has elective surgery. It reminds me of the way my kids used to treat homework. Put it off till the very last minute. When is the campaign going to begin?
From a woman that says that Bill Clinton told her he did not have sex with that woman, and she said, "'I believe him." Any one that gullible, has no credibility in my book.
No, this shoulder surgery is timed to put a glass wall around Kerry and keep him from interacting with people and making more campaign mistakes. The Democrats think that they can rebuild Kerry's image if he just shuts up.
Your comment is very close to my thinking. Kerry is really uncomfortable mingling with people. His arrogance prohibits him from being comfortable. You can see he is more comfortable talking from a podium, as he offers his benediction to the unwashed. He now will have an excuse for not having to mix with lower forms than he. Elective surgery is just that--elective. There is really no reason why he has to have it done right now, except that he wants to, to avoid rope lines.
Should National Security Advisor Condoleezza Rice be forced to testify in public before the 9/11 Commission? Thank you for participating in our poll. Here are the results so far. Yes 53%
That's a classic joke. Yours reminds me of a story I heard yesterday about a guy that had a slight hearing problem, but suddenly he couldn't hear anything at all, so he went to the doctor. The doctor looked in his ear and pulled out a suppository and said, "What the heck...?" The guy looked at it and said, "Now I know where my hearing aid is."
