    KCTV is a CBS affiliate.

Top to bottom CBS lacks credibility. If it was interested in truth, CBS would have fired Rather immediately and sanctioned the reporter who slandered this businessman with trumped up charges.

It makes you wonder about all of the 60 Minutes exposes over the years. Was there even a shred of truth in any of them?

A Hollywood actor, a Muslim, and a Red-stater were walking on the beach one day, when they stumbled upon a genie's lamp.

After the genie's lamp was rubbed, the genie appeared, promising to grant each of them one wish.

The Hollywood actor wished that all entertainers could move to Canada, where they would live in peace and prosperity and with license to do anything they'd like forever. "Poof!" The genie granted the actor's wish.

The Muslim wished that all Muslims in the United States could return to the Middle East, where they would live in peace, harmony, and prosperity forever, and without need or future wish to return to the United States again. "Poof!" The genie granted the Muslim's wish, and all Muslims in the United States were immediately relocated to the Middle East.

The genie turned to the Red-stater, asking for his wish.

"Well, Mr. Genie, it looks like you've covered all the bases very well. Can I have a Diet Coke?"

Their fear is well founded if they must depend on the likes of Chiraq and Schroeder for defense and moral compass.

Does that open the door for the President to sue Michael Moore for his libel?

If the report of the investigation does come out, CBS will (i) find a graceful way to cut Dan Rather loose, and (ii) spin it as though the credibility of CBS and its ongoing commitment to truth has been restored.

You can dress up a pig, but it's still a pig. CBS has been exposed to be nothing more than a tabloid.

CBS attempted to influence the election for the DNC with doctored documents. One half-hearted apology and a couple of weeks later, they planned their own "October surprise" on the Sunday before the election. They planned to use UN documents about 300 tons of weapons in Iraq. They planned to air the story so that there would be no time for the President to respond. The later incident wasn't Dan Rather's alone; it went to the highest levels of CBS.

All of this was a violation of the public trust. "Bias" should be a four letter word to the media. To CBS, bias is the means to the agenda.

The FCC will not revoke the license of CBS to deliver news, CBS will replace Dan Rather with another of his ilk, and we'll be fighting the CBS bias again in 2008.

Quote: "It's a David v Goliath victory by bloggers in pyjamas over a $US7 million ($10 million) network anchorman and the most prestigious television news organisation in America."

Since when has CBS been prestigious? It has long been biased, and its been years since Dan Rather sought truth. CBS has always had a black eye.

USA Today has become a rag. If it passes off the blathering of the traitor Michael Moore as truth and reporting, then the paper has absolutely no credibility.

I'll never buy another copy -- and I'll take the free copy offered by the hotel and dump it in the trash where it belongs.

If it wants to be truthful in its reporting, perhaps the paper should change its name to Traitor Today.

"But Tutt, board president of Austin Area Interreligious Ministries, which includes Buddhists, Hindus, Jews, Muslims and Christians, balked at the perception that Bush is the only choice for people of faith.

"As I read the Scriptures and as I understand faith, God's side is the group that's feeding the poor, caring about children, making sure that people have enough food to eat - not killing others," said Tutt, who opposes the war in Iraq.

As one from Austin, I take offense. When Tutt as a supporter of Muslims condemns terrorism, then he'll have the moral authority to speak. But he hasn't. He can talk all he wants about feeding the poor and caring about children. But he doesn't have a darned thing to say about the murders of terrorists and those very fine Muslim folks that will strap a bomb on a child to blow up a bus. What a crock.
