Email RNC and USA today(MICHAEL MOORE the storyteller)
Daily News

Posted on 08/27/2004 9:10:25 AM PDT by italianquaker

'Fahrenheit 9/11" director Michael Moore - a virulent enemy of President Bush - has been hired by USA Today to write four opinion columns during the Republican Convention. Word is that party officials aren't happy that the pugnacious Moore - wearing the credentials of a legitimate journalist - will be the skunk at their garden party next week, traipsing around Madison Square Garden and maybe even causing trouble

What a disgrace that we would allow his biased and deceitful coverage and that USA today would hire him. SHAMEFUL

Is this a joke? Didn't USA fire Ann Coulter because they thought her columns were too radical?

Replaced her with Jonah Goldberg. Seems to me we have every right they tone down the Michael Moore pick, too.

Anything Michael Moore says makes the Republican party look good. In my opinion--bring him on.

As he makes his way across the floor, people should just turn their backs on Cheeseburger Boy.
Don't insult him, don't taunt him, just turn your back.
No reaction will drive him crazy.

Just because USA Today hired Moore does not mean the RNC has to wimp out and let him in.

well-placed all-you-can-eat buffets would sideline Moore for most of convention

Didn't USA Today reject Ann Coulter's work just recently for being not funny and too partisan?

This could get ugly. I would not allow him into the convention. Better to keep him out than to try to throw him out.

I like Ann Coulter, but I thought her article for USA went over the top and made her look insensitive and boorish.

I don't see how you can keep every delegate there from refraining from punching the guy.

Yeah, I don't think it makes too much difference whether MM gets to stroll around the convention floor to his heart's content with his camera crew in tow or does so on the street outside. Either way, we'll no doubt be treated to a marvelous work of magical editing that makes all republicans look and sound like vulgar, evil robber barons.

I say kill him with kindness, disappoint him till he goes nuts.

I absolutely agree. We should always take the high road and the best thing to do with a bully is to ignore him. That ought to drive the fatass nuts. The really annoying thing about this is that he might end up on camera as I am watching the convention. ACK!

Take away his press credentials, and hold him as a suspected terrorist.

All Repubicanss should be instructed to ignore him. NOBODY talks to him. NOBODY. You know what this is about? Him getting footage of those crazy Republicans with the funny hats so he can mock them in his next documentary. Ordinarily I would say kill him with kindness, but not this time, because there is not a shred of humanity in his fat body.
