  • Obama Throws Wright Under the Bus (Finally)

I am warning everybody now. This latest dust up with Rev. Wright is all a coordinated setup by the Obama campaign staff!

Obama tried for the “It was all a mischaracterization of Rev. Wright. He’s a nice guy. I won’t denounce him.” That didn’t sell. His internal polling and focus groups showed that the public was not buying the story since Obama had been a loyal church member for 20 years. Obama was losing ground. And it would hurt him in November!

Obama needed to find a “quick exit”. But how do you denounce Wright when you have already refused to do so????? Well, you need Wright to say something even more outrageous and then denounce that. As Obama’s loyal counselor, mentor and Pastor who presided over his wedding and the baptism of his children, Rev. Wright was willing. So Pastor Jeremiah came out of hiding (where he had passed up some honorary awards) and calls a series of press conferences and issues some more outrageous comments.

Quick like a rabbit, Obama denounces the “latest statements”. He then denounces Sharpton. Then Obama calls a press conference to “answer the questions about Rev. Wright”. Gee. Would would have guessed?!?!?!?!?!?!

Thi is such an obvious sham, it is hilarious that anyone is buying into it! Obama merely wants to dispose of the Rev. Wright issue by denouncing him. But he needed a new provocation in order to justify it. And Wright gave him the opening. And undoubtedly they planned it together!

Gingrich is the funny one in all of this. He is asking, “Is Rev. Wright trying to undermine Obama”? Of course not! the Pastor is doing Obama a favor. Its a coordinated kabuki dance. Obama gets to dispose of Wright six months before the election and then refuse to discuss it till after the election. Then who do you think will be holding the bible when he is sworn in?

Why are you all missing this? Obama has the nomination locked. This is the final move to prepare for the general election. Dump WRight. Dump Sharpton. Dump Jesse. Then they all meet after the election and toss back a few scotches and call for women and cigars! Big con job on America! How else could Obama unload the “Rev. Wright scandal” from around his neck? He had to have a premise! So he asked Wright to fall on his sword, and Jeremiah complied!. Anyone buying into this is simply blind!

  • Liberal Blogs Growing like weeds

New liberal blogs are popping up almost daily. I found this new one: http://www.cafepolitico.us/blog1/ It actually predates "politico.com", but is emblematic of the rise or the "nutroots". It appears as if the liberal/progressives are beginning to dominate the internet much like conservative thinking seems to dominate "talk radio". What to do?

FIGHT BACK! Stay on the net. Don't let the liberal bloggers dominate the speech on line. Challenge their narrow thinking. If their ideology is permitted to spread and become "gospel" inside their echo chamber, then we will lose the debate through neglect. With a younger generation spending so much time on line, and less time listening to the real news, their thinking becomes "channeled" and warped. The progressive blogs tend to reject news and spin conspiracy theories that permeat not only the US, but the "savy" foreigners who are often the elite in less developed countries that search the web for information and opinions. With the rise of myspace.com and facebook.com, cells of people become "indoctrinated" to liberal ideas that may sound appealing, but lack a foundation in reality or practicality. Hugo Chavz begins to sound like a "world philospher" instead of a despot seeking dictatorial rule over a democratic nation. Socialism looks appealing and the principles of Communism seem compelling (let's face it, such naive thinking dominated philosphical thinking for 7 decades before it was revealed in all its ugliness). A new generation that can't remember the "camps for reeducation" in the USSR, or the events of 9/11 may be mislead as to what was learned from those historical events unless these issues are put in context.

I am writing you because I am struck by the fact that no one has brought up this issue!

Libby has been accused of “lying to a Grand Jury” and “Obstructing an investigation”. Those are exactly the same things that Ms. Magnum of the Duke rape case has been confirmed of doing. Apparently like Libby, she has a problem with remembering events. She is also alleged to have tried to “malign the reputations” of others as Wilson says of Libby.

Isn’t it remarkable that no one is charging Magnum? Isn’t it rather obvious that Ms. Magnum’s offense are much more devastating and had a much greater effect and actually undermined the reputations in a much more serious manner? Shouldn’t she receive a greater punishment that Libby? (Or Libby receive less punishment that her?).

    Hmmmmmmmm. Very strange!

  • HuffPo's seek to lynch Rove

Karl Rove was pelted with rocks and other objects following a speech he made at American University. The "protesters" were forcibly removed after they blocked his vehicle so that they could continue to pelt him with insults and physical objects.

But that is not the worst of it. "Progressives" on HuffingtonPost.com now celebrate and justify the assault and call for Karl Rove to be "drug out and lynched".

Peace activists are representing their desire for "non-violence" in a peculiar manner.

How many other "bloggers" on HuffPo have their articles "ghostwritten"? How many are ficticious? How many don't even know they are blogging?

Where is the morality? Is Arianna lying? Is she a bigger liar than Bush? Is she guilty of "deceptive" reporting (blogging?)? Did she decieve her readers? Is she honest? Can we believe her? How many other blogs on HuffPo don't reveal the full truth? Do any of them hide facts from their readers? Do they only tell "one side of the story"?

  • DeLay's prosecutors lack a key document

In a bizarre move, the State Prosecutor is seeking the cell-phone records of Delay's daughter and probably any other cell-phones of people who know the Member of Congress.

The move seems to suggest that the Prosecutor believes the conspiracy to launder money was wide-spread and particularly evil in its nature. He seems to believe that Delay used elaborate efforts to cover up his "crime" and hide evidence from police and prosecutors.

This is in contrast to Delay's public statements where he freely admits he sent money to the RNC and believed that to be legal. Do people that believe their actions are legal seek to hide what they do through elaborate schemes? Is this logical?

Earle's office acknowledges that they do not have the document referenced in the indictment as prooof of the "laundering" scheme. Apparently the Grand Jury took Earle's word for the fact that such a document did exist. One jury refused to indict. One jury indicted on an improper statute (recommended by Earle), and the thrid returned two indictments after hearing only one day of testimony.

Does anyone smell the stink of political attacks painted over with a thin venier of a criminal investigation?

Why isn't this writer attacking the corrupt governments in Africa that are causing the problems to begin with? The U.S. (and other nations) has donated billions through the World Bank, the AID, and the UN to help develop the economies of these nations. It is usually all raked off by the local politicians (some sell the food aid that we donate).

Why aren't we getting applause for the aid that we are donating? Why aren't we being thanked for Pres. Bush's HIV/AIDS funding in Africa? Why are we being praised for arm-twisting American pharmicutical companies for allowing generic versions of their prescription drugs to be distributed in Africa (but not in the U.S.)?

Starving children and families are a sympathetic picture, and your heart goes out to them. This article is tatamount to accusing the U.S. of causing the problem instead of solving it. How about the aid our churches are donating that is purchased and distributed in Africa? That is millions of dollars!

I am really, really getting sick of people trying to make me feel guilty.

This sounds too much like Bill Cosby!
This guy must be an Oreo! An Uncle Tom! It can't be the blacks fault!

African Americans celebrate Web Du Bois, but never followed what he wrote. He said they could do it on their own, together by relying on one another. They had to because "the whites won't ever help blacks".

Blacks are killing blacks. Blacks are impregnating black teens. Blacks are stealing from other blacks. Black men won't support their black children. Black women pick "gangstas" to father their children. Survey says that 90% of black parents think their child will succeed by being a professional athelete.

Is there any mystery here? Is there going to be any change? When? Motivated by what? The "Millions More" March will turn into a call for "reparations", not a call for dedication and self-sacrifice.

The suggestion that the shrinking of Mars polar cap may result from natural occurances or from a general increase in energy output is rejected by many critics of the U.S. environmental policy. These critics point to the fact that such polar melting was not noted before the landing of U.S. exploration vehicles, and thus may well have been the triggering mechanism. Such global warming on Mars threatens the fragile ecosystem and may endanger all Martian life (assuming there is any).

Well. She is out now. This isn't her seeking a visit with the President to ask questions. It is part of an anti-war media campaign to "hold him accountable". She is opposed to any conflict, including the one in Afghanistan to hold Al Queda accountable for 9/11. The death of her son, while tragic, is not the reason for her vigil, it is merely and additional motivation to become activist which her husband and family do not share.

Can't ask for it to be any clearer than that. Chris Matthews gave her every opportunity to keep her message straight, but she wandered off into the land of liberalism and peace at any cost. This was one of Matthews best and most significant interviews in the last five years.

Hanks, refusing to meet with the Nun who is protesting his callous portrayal of her religion, pushed past the protest without even acknowledging her presence. The media wonders why this man, characterized as so thoughtful and compassionate, can be so heartless to understand her concerns about the themes in his movie.

The Nun has been joined by a group of supporters that seems to grow with each passing minute. Supporters indicate that this protest is capturing the nations attention and focusing everyone on the issue of denigration of Catholics and their faith. This protest falls on the heels of Democratic partisan attacks on Judge Roberts, and other Bush nominees who were Catholics. The Democrats in the Senate have called Catholic beliefs "outdated" and "out of the mainstream". Hanks, a heavy contributor to Democratic candidates and to Move-on.org seems to be pursuing this same agenda in selection of his movies. While the protest has little hope of cancelling the production, the supporters hope that they will awaken the public to this new threat of attack on religious values.

There is a group that does pay the fee for this "Sister Swim". That group uses taxpayer money to pay the fee, however.

In the Virginia Tech example, the Saudi govt. pays the fee, but they use taxpayer provided government facilities. Note the contrast with NYC where the government is prohibiting Crhistians from even renting government facilities. This excludes access that is available for other non-Christian groups.
