Lemme guess; didn’t vent the engine chamber before hitting the ignition. Or maybe launching fireworks from the rear deck platform. Being the fourth and all.
I’m still stuck here for a few more years. On Mt. Read just around the corner. Last year Mayor Maleek sent franked mail stating that I got a city tax cut of 34%. The next day the tax bill arrived. It was a $400 increase. This city died a long time ago. It just doesn’t know it yet.
My Vietnamese wife is quite a bit younger than I. Her family is well off by Vietnamese, maybe by our standards as well. They won’t wear anything without some big name logo on it.
Last trip there I suggested that we should go to the market, buy a thousand blank t-shirts and blouses. Then buy some gold glitter. we print “WTF?” as a logo. They will think it’s a new American brand and buy out our stock.
She didn’t think it was funny. I laughed my a** off.

So, did she just put stars on the sentences she thought looked extra special? How would she know? Seriously though, I really do admire her for motivating her sons to such great achievement.
Just west of here we have a “demonstration project”, complete with its’ own logo. Something that’s supposed to remind you of a raindrop or something.
When I traveled the NYS Thruway sometimes I would see semi’s carrying these black coffin shaped steel boxes with stenciled letters “WVDP” on them with the same raindrop logo on them. That’s West Valley Demonstration Project, a place to store high level radioactive liquid waste above ground.
I remember the Archies and the Jackson Five. And that you had to put a quarter next to the spindle to kind of make the cardboard a bit flatter. Post Cereals with whoever their talking bear character was on the box that comes to mind.
“Michael Meyer, 37, of Falls Township, was charged with felony aggravated assault and several misdemeanors”, seems I saw him in a series of horror flix once upon a time. I wondered where he got off to.
I must agree. My last two trips, each last a month commuting between Ho Chi Minh and Chau Doc, I did not see a single soldier or policeman outside of their quarters.
