Rochester, N.Y. (WHAM) — The Trump administration is taking the City of Rochester to court following a controversial encounter between Rochester police officers and federal immigration authorities.
A March 24 traffic stop on Whitney Street near Lyell Avenue sparked controversy after Mayor Malik Evans and Rochester Police Chief David Smith claimed the officers involved violated the city's immigration policy by assisting Border Patrol agents at the scene.

My niece went to high school with him. Haven't talked to her yet about his stupidity. Her husband works for the city. Neither of them are liberals, so it will be interesting to hear what they say. I was born and raised in Rochester. Went to high school there. That city went to $hit many years ago. Glad all my family is dead and gone from there so I never have to go back.
I was born in Rochester in 1947. Moved away from there around 1972 with my then husband and two sons. Only went back to bury family. Last one passed in 2014.

We all went to Jonathan Child School (#21) on Colvin Street. We three girls went to Madison High School. My only brother went to Edison. I graduated from Madison in 1965. It wasn't long after that, that the city started going downhill.

I’m still stuck here for a few more years. On Mt. Read just around the corner. Last year Mayor Maleek sent franked mail stating that I got a city tax cut of 34%. The next day the tax bill arrived. It was a $400 increase. This city died a long time ago. It just doesn’t know it yet.
Probably some DEI bean picker mailed out that letter to you for the Mayor.
