‘What Happened to Him?’ Trump Says It Looks Like Adam Schiff ‘Got Hit With a Baseball Bat’

President Donald Trump took questions from reporters as he traveled to disaster sites in North Carolina and Los Angeles on Friday and at one point discussed Sen. Adam Schiff (D-CA) – who Trump said looked like he got “hit with a baseball bat.”

A reporter asked Trump, “Senator Schiff was joining you on this trip and he was too busy. Are you disappointed?”

“I don’t know. I was told that Schiff was going to travel with us to California. I wasn’t thrilled, to be honest with you,” Trump replied, adding:

“And I saw him last night on television. It looks like he got hit with a baseball bat or something. What happened to him? Something happened to him. It was well, it looked like he had a hit– it looked like he got beat around.

But I’ll ask Karoline [Leavitt] to find out what happened. You know, if he wanted to come out, I would have done that. But I don’t know, I Somebody said that he wanted to come on the plane, but I think he’s staying back for the votes. There’s some pretty good votes going on.”

That's what corruption does to a person. It eats a person up from the inside. It comes out eventually. Sometimes it's mental like Biden. Other times it's physical, like Schiff and the Clintons before him.

Trump hasn't really changed that much since first announcing his run in 2015. He seems to have avoided corruption entirely.
