President Obama and liberals in Congress seem intent on passing comprehensive health care reform, even though polls suggest it is unpopular with the American people. And despite the potential political risks to moderate Democrats, the President and left-wing leadership in Congress are determined to pass the measure using a rare parliamentary procedure.

There was a call with 1,000 Rabbis and Obama this week on Health Care: One Rabbi concluded among other things: Obama is really either advocating government control or doesn't understand how insurance works.

In the third presidential debate, McCain referred to Obama as Senator Government, an obvious slip of the tongue, but nevertheless somewhat appropriate as a characterization of his policies and underlying ideology.
