There was a call with 1,000 Rabbis and Obama this week on Health Care:
One Rabbi concluded among other things: Obama is really either advocating government control or doesn't understand how insurance works.
TOPICS: Activism/Chapters
KEYWORDS: conference; healthcarereform; obama; rabbis
Rabbi Josh Yuter had many things to say about the call and found much of Obama's approach disconcerting. The source at PajamaHadin has reaction from Yuter and a link to more of his comments. They are worth reading.

It’s a disapointment that the URJ gets involved in something that is political. I wrote to the URJ, My Temple and its President tell them that my Dues money should be witheld from their MUM Dues as I don’t agree with the URJ supporting a political issue without finding out what their members agree on.

So a priest, a rabbi, and a president walk into a bar...
