Nope. No amnesty to the COVID tyrants. I lost my job, lost my career, because I refused the shots. I was unhireable in medical field because all employers at the time were demanding “vaccinated”, and there was no religious exemption allowed. Nobody would hire me. I had to retire 3+ years early and take reduced Social Security.
So screw them. Every last one of them. Maybe God will show them Mercy, but I cannot muster any.
This. As I said in an earlier post, there is no value there (w/ the state run insurance if you live near the ocean). I stopped paying a decade before paying off my mortgage and no one ever came after me btw. That said, this is my last insurance related post and hope it’s the same for others. The topic is certainly worthy of a separate thread at a different time, but it shouldn’t detract from breaking news on an historic FL storm (as well as all NN’s hard work in maintaining the thread). Many people depend on this thread for up to the minute information, not insurance arguments and storm strength squabbles. We should all think about that before posting.
Damn, that was kind of harsh. Pardon me for daring to share an opinion that was all of 40 words long. With someone other than you. But you felt the need or self importance to jump in and spend 121 words to scold me for daring to say something you weren't interested in.
I'm glad I was busy with hurricane prep and didn't see your snotty comment until now. There's a reason why the old FR members don't post much anymore. Have a great and self-important life.
I could afford it when I moved here. I live on an east coast island and have never had a claim. But my insurance is up to > $3k. As soon as I have mortgage paid off, I will self insure.
This guy’s been walking through downtown Ottawa all afternoon. He’s gonna take a meal and warmup break in a bit, but he said as long as people watch, he’ll cover it....
Whadya mean the only thing there is the state prison. The 89th annual Florence Jr Parada was just held around Thanksgiving time. And I have a photo of my cousin with Gene Autry at the parade in 1955...
