Another day, another mass casualty event with liberalism at the core. One does not have to search long to find about a million theories as to why bad things happen in the world. there's always an expert with a HAHvard degree and a sociologist or 12 to explain that guns, white privlege and climate change driving proivleges whites with guns to walk into schools and open fire. you know what never gets mentioned? Every single one of these events has liberalism and most often, a certifiable liberal behind them. Think thats nuts? Wild speculation? Name the last time a bible...

Sometimes Youtube comes up with very "All your base belong to us" quips via their captioning function. Being a hobbyist musician I often watch videos on new equipment. This one made me wake the dog up laughing. He is SUPPOSED TO be saying "Now I'm gonna show you a cool feature". Didn't quite work out that way though... https://www.youtube.com/watch?feature=player_detailpage&v=3hSWl3kaHA8#t=487

Who, What, Where, When and Why – The 5W's of Journalism By Norm Lenhart Special to Free Republic If there is one thing that I as a former reporter/editor can say to the reader side of the media street, it's this. NEVER trust an article that does not contain the 5Ws of Journalism. For those not in the know, they are right up there in the headline: Who, What, When, Where and Why. If I could say another, it is to barrage the publisher of any article with email/letters and public scorn until their reportage conforms to all five of...

Hi fellow Freepers, the link above is to an MSNBC poll / article on the recreational community vs. the environmentalsits. In light of the appointment of the good Ms. Norton as Interior Secretary, the anti-access crowd in in the process of launching an all out media war to paint members of the outdoor recreational community as the destroyers of the environment. This is nothing new, but for the first time in 8 years, we have the means at our disposal to turn back the tide of environmentalism gone awry. This poll is just the first of many sure to ...

20 Questions Backstage With "The Motor City Madman," Terrible Ted Nugent! By: Mr Dune Also be sure to check out Ted Nugent's new monthly column "God, Guns and Rock'n'Roll here at ORC: Click Here! Recently I had the rare privilege of meeting a true living legend. The #1 sold out rock and roll tour in the world made it's stop here in Las Vegas. A fellow off roader, hunter and political activist, Ted Nugent was gracious enough to grant ORC an audience backstage at Mandalay Bay for an interview and a couple cold ones of Michigan's finest brew, ...

It's Not Easy Being Green And You Really Wonder Why??? By Norm Lenhart Senior Editor - Off-Road.com The Politicizing of Off-Roading Last months article "Fear of the Dark" generated yet another flurry of E-mail, and I'm happy to report that most of it agreed with my position. On the other hand, several utterly clueless drones regurgitated the same old party line.... "But,,,but...but (insert sniveling voice here).....you just don't understand!!! We'll NEVER make any progress with the environmentalists when people like you keep saying these things!" Ah such blissful ignorance. It's enough to make Rick Sieman join the Sierra Club! ...

Off-Roaders Fight Back With a Vengeance! Well it's about damn time. Earlier this month, Pat Chicas and I attended one of the many "Scoping Meetings" being held around the country by the US Forest Service. Unless you've been wheeling' under a rock for the past couple months, you know that Resident Bill Clowntoon and USFS Chief Dumbeck are in the process of ramming another unconstitutional land grab down our throats - to the tune of 60 MILLION ACRES. And of course the little green weasels were there to babble about all the things that little green weasels babble about. ...

By Norm Lenhart Senior Editor - Off-Road.com Potatoe's First! Back around December, I was spending WAAAAAY too much time on newsgroups like alt.org.earth-first & talk.environment, arguing with the eco-holier than thou crowd. While I knew full well I'd never make any headway with these people, it served as an invaluable learning experience for me. I followed their links, read their "information", and came away from the experience with the knowledge that there are some extremely deluded people out there, with some pretty bizarre ideas about our environment, and how the world works. I decided to satirize what I found, ...

Hi all, The Southern Utah Wilderness Alliance is stirring the pot in Nevada. The utter falsity and arrogance would amaze me in any other age but this one. Hopefully one day we'll be free of these and likeminded "people", but in the meantime, here's what they're up to ****************************** SPECIAL E-MAIL ALERT This one came up suddenly. We need people to send an email or (better) make a phone call by Friday, October 8. This Nevada situation has national ramifications. Thanks for taking the time to act! An estimated 500 sagebrush rebels in the Humbolt National Forest, in Elko County, ...
