Wow—what hyperbole appears to have been broadcast leading up to its approach—thankfully it looks like Florida and east coast have lucked out, thank God!

He’s one of the worst—correct. He makes crap up/exaggerates as he goes. I’ve no respect for him. But he joins the multitude of ‘journalists’ who are in that category.

This really looks bad, hence my concern and desire to keep track and get more info. Hope you’re hunkered down with enough food/water and other needed supplies.

I’m doing good. Moved to Louisiana about 4 years ago and went through Hurricane Isaac. That was bad not so much for the wind but because of how slow-moving—practically stationery for awhile. It really caused massive flooding. My street got hit pretty bad but I’m further down the road and away from the ditch and swamp. Lucked out for sure. Relay my good wishes to your friends—I’ve got the entire state in my prayers and I’m sure a great many others are doing the same.

All occupants were supposed to go to the stairwell, yep. I didn’t see all the occupants, mostly it seemed to be wimmin, the men were to manly men to ever be hurt by a tornado. LOL

Bear with me here....it really is related to Sharpton and what’s going on in Baltimore, NYC, Chicago, Ferguson and other places where there were or will be imminent riots.

Under Obama, he and his Administration uses the unemployment claims numbers to make it appear as though unemployment claims are low, justifying his Socialist policies and for stating the lower unemployment claims numbers signal a more healthy economy. This is nothing but a trick.

You can’t claim unemployment when you lose a 29.5 hr/wk job. The Obama Department of Labor & ilk will never say that 90% of the jobs people have taken since 2009 make them ineligible to file for unemployment. You don’t file for unemployment when you lose or quit your 15-hour waitress job for another. Unemployment benefit requests are rejected any time someone didn’t make enough money from their previous job or two in the prior 6 quarters.

As there’s fewer and fewer people who are allowed or can file for unemployment, claims numbers must become lower. After 8 years of Socialist policies, most all businesses in all sectors are running lean, which means businesses have reduced their work force to the minimum number required to keep it most profitable. The economy is running on a skeleton crew with 50% of the working age population out of a full time job. Therefore, since the majority of people who can be laid off have already been laid off, the majority are already either out of the work force or living on .gov assistance.

Thinking logically, doesn’t there come a point in time when it should dawn on even the most simple of minds that when +98 million are not counted in the work force, 9 million are on unemployment and 8 million are on disability, when there are so many people not working that the number of unemployment claims must begin to slow? That the number of people who will be losing jobs can’t continue to significantly increase, short of almost all businesses in all sectors shuttering their doors after first having significantly increased the number of employees who worked more than 29.5 hours per week (otherwise they cannot file for unemployment benefits)? Speaking of which, there have been thousands of store and company closures and many empty malls are being turned into medical offices. If someone in D.C. cared, they might find this a nice time to drop corporate taxes.

Obama & ilk’s solution? Raise taxes and flood the country with yet more illegals. We need more “migrants” to keep it all going. To prove their point, they say, just ask Obama (he knows everything), the Crony Chamber of Commerce, Crony Capitalists, Socialist Progressives, and other liberals, regardless of whether they have a “D” or an “R” after their name. Those migrants never file claims; it’s a boon!

Also ignore the fact that blacks are mad as hell as they feel the pressure from migrant job takers but most of them cannot see who got their jobs. Neither do they understand who made it all possible, surely not a black president, the Democrats, elitists on both sides of the aisle in Congress, and liberal, Socialist policies which have been in effect in inner cities, Democrat-run since the 1960’s.

Black “leaders” such as Obama, Holder, Jackson, Sharpton, Farrakahn, and the Progressive Congressional Black Caucus members, instead of instituting policies which would actually help black Americans, and rather than condemn the disgusting black violence or work toward reducing black animosity against whites, Republicans, conservatives, and others, they instead blame, incite and encourage the racial tensions and hatred against Republicans and conservatives while, at the same time, continue to instigate and promulgate the very conditions black Americans resent.

Baltimore today (add to that Detroit, Ferguson, Chicago, etc.) is the aborted child of the great society, open borders, and Wall Street off-shoring jobs.

I’m sure glad I’m not held accountable for what my great-great-great-grandfathers (who I know nothing about nor their names) may have done.

It’s hard enough being accountable for what I do myself. Everyday, I pray that I do the right thing and that God will be pleased despite my imperfections.

All the city bankruptcies, i.e., Detroit, and race riots across the country are the direct result of socialist liberal progressive Democrat policies which have solely controlled and been responsible for the victimization of blacks in all the inner cities for DECADES.

I had a busy morning; we had a tornado form 6 miles from where I work so we had to evacuate down to the ground level into the stairway and wait it out for about a half hour. My youngest daughter, when she found out later, thought that was awesome. lol

Exactly. They aren’t afraid of our warships because they know the ‘commander’ in chief is really the clown in chief who’s afraid of his own shadow and would never issue any orders to the military to attack.

The Jews rejected Christ and so salvation was extended, by grace, to the Gentiles, until the time of the Gentiles is complete. Then the Father and Christ will turn back to complete His work with the Jews. They will always be His people. He promised and He has yet to fulfill ALL His promises to them. I believe that will be done during the Millennium.
