I’ve heard this “unpredictability” referred to as “Strategic Abiguity”. If Trump never takes bold actions then threats are just idle chatter. His opponents must know that he is not afraid to act.
I can’t believe the authors screwed up the punchline of the article:
Nothing will change until Illinoisans vote in a whole new class of lawmakers. Those that finally put Illinois residents first. “residents” should be “CITIZENS”!
In their opening sentence they identify this terrorist as a “Maryland resident”. He is a resident of the counrty in which he is a citizen, El Salvador. His issue isn’t with the US, it’s with his own government.

Mexicans!?! I was hoping they’d use it to launch Jelly Belly and Johnson. But of course that would call for some serious industrial strength design work on the trebuchet to launch JB.

Just a quick glance on Reverend Dr. Jonathan Grieser of Grace Episcopal Church... His post on Jan 26 starts off with:
“Today, following the 10:00 service, you’re invited to participate in a series titled “Radical Love.” Sponsored and organized by our Pride Committee, the series is intended to introduce us to new ways of thinking about LGBTQ+ inclusion, and new ways of thinking about the Christian faith in light of the experiences of our LGBTQ+ siblings in Christ.”
I’ve had hearing aids for over 20 years. I’ve had Beltone, and many other brands and service providers. The current technology is fantastic compared to what I started with.
My recommendation is for Costco. The audiologists are very good and, importantly are paid a salary, not commission. Result is more trustworthy recommendations. Also, if you’re traveling and run into issues with your hearing aids you can walk into ANY Costco store and get service (huge benefit!).
I’ve got a Phillips brand. It’s behind the ear with rechargeable batteries. I bought a separate battery powered recharger/dehumidfier for portability and maintaining a longer life for the aids.
The hearing aids come with Bluetooth connectivity for playing audio music & podcasts and for phone calls. Performance is very good. The phone app gives you control of the volume and settings (general, speech in noise, HiFi music, T-Coil looping, etc). You can monitor the battery level. There is even a “Find my hearing aids” function that I’ve used multiple times.
