Propelled by the exciting notion that words that mean nothing can often mean anything, favorite words of the left took on new meanings in 2023. Meanings that had less to do with the word itself, than with associating a particular word with a vast array of feelings, designed to mangle the original meaning and grant it a new, improved definition....

I produced this video in the late 90's with Chinese dissident Harry Wu. It pretty much proves and documents the horrific practice of the killing of prisoners and the harvesting and sale of their body parts by China. Pretty sure it's going to be censored...

The conservative news site I have operated for the last 15 years is undergoing persistent bot attacks which leave site unable to load and me unable to post news. Does anyone out there have experience with this?

Political correctness is a hugely successful campaign that has effectively altered traditional standards of behavior in order to advance the political agenda of mostly left-leaning groups. From gay rights, to feminism to open borders, PC rules dictate that you conform with the prevailing group-think at the risk of social ostracism.

Former Gov. Sarah Palin is playing hide and seek with the media. Will she run for office? Will she vie for the presidency in 2012? Rather than stating her intentions, she is deliberately flirting with the media, indicating she may jump in at any time—or perhaps not. This strategy is tarnishing her image: Again, she appears to be more interested in bolstering her celebrity status rather than being a serious political figure and doing what is best for the nation.

Over the weekend, Sen. Bernie Sanders, Vermont Independent, declared that President Barack Obama has drifted “so far to the right” he thinks a primary challenger should emerge just to keep the commander-in-chief accountable to the left.

Obama came through on his campaign theme of 'equality' Monday by proclaiming June as "Lesbian, Gay, Bisexual, and Transgender Pride Month". Obama lauded what he calls "the determination and dedication" of the LGBT movement. In the same spirit of equality, I'd like to propose July to be designated as Heterosexual Pride Month in hopes of drawing attention to and appreciation for traditional moral values and marriage as practiced by heterosexuals

Dear President Obama, My neighbors here in Murrells Inlet have appointed me their spokesman in order to relay to you the results of our latest kitchen cabinet meeting. We believe we've come up with some great solutions to many of America's pressing problems. Of course, not a one of us is an expert or has any letters after our names, but we're hoping you'll listen anyway. (And we have no problem if you want to take credit for them.)

The numbers are in: the white population is moribund. The latest figures from the 2010 census point to the emergence of a new America to be eventually dominated by minorities, especially Hispanics and Asians, the two fastest-growing ethnic groups in the land. By 2041 minorities will be the new majority. This demographic change is occurring at an even more meteoric pace than previously anticipated. America’s white population dropped from 69.1 percent in 2000 to 63.7 in 2010, while the minority population grew from 30.9 percent in 2000 to 36.3 percent in 2010.

Color me happy. For the first time in over 10 years, crowds of Americans are waving flags and singing the Star Spangled Banner, celebrating an American victory - the death of bin Laden. Who'd a thunk? Just when I felt progressives had succeeded in turning America into a self-loathing, guilt ridden, multicultural sycophant to world opinion, I see hope that maybe our nation will be able to retain the pride in our accomplishments that has been under assault for so long. How about those Navy Seals?!!

On April 27 President Barack Obama issued a copy of his long-form birth certificate and declared, “We do not have time for this kind of silliness.” He said "We’ve got better stuff to do. I’ve got better stuff to do.” Indeed, the American people have better things to do and we are wondering why it has taken the president so long to comply with this basic constitutional requirement.

In the April issue of Harper’s Bazaar, bisexual author Jennifer Baumgardner touts her ability to love women and/or men. The article, “From dating a woman to marrying a man” is teased in the subhead as providing an explanation of “why gender doesn’t matter.” In other words, the next frontier in our culture wars is not simply about gays having more rights: There is now a tacit declaration of war on gender categories altogether. Let us remake the universe in our image, argue the sexual renegades of our day.

It's now official: The truth shall no longer set you free. In our new era of political correctness, the truth is more liable to get you penalized, demonized or fired. Last week, a female juror in a high-profile American mafia murder trial found this out the hard way. When asked on a court questionnaire, "Name three people you least admire," this potential juror answered, "African-Americans, Hispanics and Haitians." Her answer enraged a federal court judge in New York, who promptly sentenced her to indefinite jury duty, for her "racist" answer. This woman was penalized for being truthful.

Friday, April 15, the Homosexual Day of Silence is being promoted in government schools across the country. Welcome students. Today is the big day. Today is your chance to take a stand against the forces of bigotry and homophobia that unfairly targets our brothers, sisters and others in the gay, lesbian, transgendered, bisexual and gender optional community. By your very presence here, you signify your complete acceptance and approval of alternative lifestyles, sex on demand and the right of all to engage in whatever sexual practices feel good at the moment. You should be proud. And you may all now...

Should the burning of Islam’s holy book, the Koran, be banned? This is the question many in Washington are asking, following last weekend’s deadly rampage in Afghanistan. On March 20, Pastor Terry Jones, who heads the Dove World Outreach Center in Gainesville, Fla., presided over a Koran-burning. The actions of this crazy church leader set off cascading demonstrations across Afghanistan. Afghan President Hamid Karzai publicly denounced it, fanning the flames of religious hatred.

My plan is very simple: Combine African American Studies, Gay & Lesbian Studies, and Women’s Studies into one academic program called “Resentment Studies.” I know that initially some will resent my proposal. But allow me a chance to explain my thinking with a few examples:

The irony is never ending in higher education these days. College administrators are so steeped in the ideology of political correctness that they fail to miss an opportunity to help make their opponents’ argument for them. Such was the case after a Jihadist recently Tweeted death threats at a campus screening of Indoctrinate-U. Students at McGill University in Montreal are outraged at the politically correct response of Morton J. Mendelson - the Deputy Provost of Student Life & Learning at McGill. And they should be outraged by his cowardice.

For some time, I have made a habit of asking students their major (and minor) immediately after they ask me a silly question. This is necessary because I teach two basic studies courses per semester – both populated by students from across the spectrum of academic disciplines. I have found (consistently) that nearly all inane questions and comments come from students in just a handful of academic majors.

Japan’s Nuclear and Industrial Safety Agency (NISA) said March 12 that the explosion at the Fukushima Daiichi No. 1 nuclear plant could only have been caused by a meltdown of the reactor core, Japanese daily Nikkei reported. This statement seemed somewhat at odds with Japanese Chief Cabinet Secretary Yukio Edano’s comments earlier March 12, in which he said “the walls of the building containing the reactor were destroyed, meaning that the metal container encasing the reactor did not explode.”

The Arab freedom wave has now hit the shores of Europe and in the most unlikely of places: the Balkans. Croatia, an Adriatic nation that straddles the civilizational fault line between Central Europe and the Balkans, has been seething with public unrest and protests.
