I ask you to look up. Look past the ceiling. Past the clouds. Past the stars that twinkle in the silence of night. And ask this question — not with your eyes, but with your soul:
What is this universe?...

Thank you very much and God bless you.
Sir Isaac Newton: Nature’s laws are God’s thoughts.
Sitting in a stand reading FR while doing 11000 an hour through the ages. Waiting on a wild sow to show up.
I feel like a king.
A living part of God's recursive mind. And that, my friends, is why you matter. That is why love matters. That is why truth matters. Because every act of love, every act of understanding, is not just a good thing to do, it is you helping God finish the thought.
It's a... "Big U". Always on the move. That's why she's in Mobile, being a living part of God's recursive mind.
"myth":
27. THE MIND OF GOD
In the beginning God's mind had everything in it, all that existed or would come to exist. It contained the darkness and the void, the light and the earth, as well as all yet to be called into being. It contained the colors of the rainbow, although no rainbow had yet shone. It contained the green color of the leaves and all the shades of the sunset, as well as the brightness of light that had not yet been brought into being.
Here all of existence is said to have existed in God's mind before it was created.
The concept has a strong echo of the Platonic archetype, but here the archetypes all find their origin in God's mind.
This myth grows out of the belief that God's presence filled all of the universe before the Creation, and it follows logically the kind of personification of God so com- mon in rabbinic sources. Thus if God has eyes, a voice, hands, and feet, etc., God also has a mind and His own thoughts. This also follows the metaphor of God as the di- vine architect, who carefully planned out all of Creation long before the first day, when God said. Let there be light (Gen. 1:3).
I think...Therefore, I am, and that the greatest mystery is in what the future holds on the grandest of scales. Is there a present tense that can be detected and measured? As of now, I have no idea. There’s nothing like the universe to bring you down to earth.
That is in line with some other reading I have been doing. Thanks for the tip about this book.
But why not I am, therefore I think?
BTW, he's not exactly the great I Think.
Indeed and, of course, "we" are not able or intended to discern that.
However, we optimists like to believe that a God who is capable of creating a physical structure of his dream(s) would start with a purposeful, healthy dream.
He would likely include the discomforts of the birth and the development of a dream but would almost certainly provide a happy ending.
Is it a “Thought” IF the idea is and was always eternal? Or is it an act that always was destin3d to happen and just came to fruition one day?
A thought usually originates at a specific point.
The Universe is a Creation of God.
Always glad to be included in His thoughts. The alternative is abysmal.
The Universe is the Canvas that will display the Love of God throughout Eternity for His Creation.
Of course, I experience the universe only as thought. I could be a “brain in a vat” wired to a computer, for example, and my experience of the world could be an elaborate dream.

Fascinating...
“He is the radiance of the glory of God and the exact imprint of his nature, and he upholds the universe by the word of his power.”
There is just too much evidence disproving “I am, therefore I think”.
