Donald Trump, in only the 4th time in 70 years, disallowed the merger of Broadcom and QUALCOMM. Broadcom is the 5G leader out of Singapore with ties to Huawei, the giant Chinese electronics conglomerate that's also heavily tied to the PLA. The merger would have resulted in the dismantling of Qualcomm, with Broadcom and Huawei taking any advanced 5G technology and leaving the rest for scraps.

President Obama faces political catastrophe in the form of Solyndra -- a San Francisco Bay area solar company that he touted as a gleaming example of green technology. It has announced it will declare Chapter 11 bankruptcy. More than 1,100 people will lose their jobs.

China has subsidized their Green Jobs manufacturing sector to the tune of $25 Billion dollars. The making of solar panels is now the province of China. No other country can now produce them at a cost to make it a viable industry. The new Solyndra solar panel plant in Silicon Valley, which President Obama visited with much fanfare earlier this year, will become a another empty building - a white elephant perched next to I-880 as another example of more empty promises from the Environmental lobby.

The State Dept. will pay for the fund raising tour of the Imam who wants to build the mosque at Ground Zero. He will visit Riyadh, S.A., Quater, and Dubai, among other countries. After several days of phone calls and e-mail inquiries, the State Dept. answered, "we need to get clearance to comment" No denial was forthcoming. The Imam already has a mosque 10 blocks from the sone he wants to build.

Obama will be on vacation in Chicago this Memorial Day, instead of presiding over Memorial Day ceremonies at Arlington. This may be the first time since the Civil War that a president will not pay respect to the veterans passed.

ABC radio reported that Congressional Republicans have agreed to an extension of G.W.'s tax cut proposal. 15 million taxpayers would have been a victim of the alternative minimum tax. The agreement also extends exiting low rate for capitol investment.
