Their only influence in the media is through leftists in the Hill, the Washington Pose, etc., who use them to “stir the pot” among the Republicans.

My guess is that she doesn’t have the backing of the party politburo this time. She’s too incompetent and unappealing to run on her own.

His “moderate” image is a mirage. Republicans controlled the legislature throughout his administration. At times they even had a veto-proof super majority. Hence there wasn’t any point for him to propose a far left agenda.

Whenever granted executive discretion, e.g. Covid lockdowns, he invariably aped the actions of Gavin Newsom, Tim Walz, etc. If elected to the Senate his record would be indistinguishable from Elizabeth Warren, Bernie Sander, Schiff, etc.

It’s the same sick mentality that turned Somalia into a failed state hellhole. Minneapolis is the next Mogadishu.

I have mixed feelings about this.

There’s a reason why polygraphs aren’t admissible in court. Under test conditions, polygraph examiners have been unable to detect someone lying about his birthday, city of birth, names of children, etc. The Soviet Union trained its agents to pass polygraphs without much trouble, e.g. Aldrich Ames. There’s issues with unscrupulous examiners determining deception because they believe it pleases their employer, or simply to show how “tough” they are.

Still, the SecDef needs to get to the bottom of leaks. They endanger the national security. Polygraphs are a fact of life in most police departments and intelligence agencies.

It’s not enough to be against this creep. You also have to decide on a specific person to replace him. So who is it?
