  • What does Biden know and when did he know it?

I was thuinking that a useful talking point in the controversy about Biden's "revelation" that a young Obama will be tested in the first six months might be that he already has information about what our enemies are planning. Considering his status On the Foreign Relations Committee might provide him with that type of information, should we not ask, "What does Biden know and when did he know it?" Thanks

I have witnessed over the past 2 weeks the early voting of several areas here in tennessee and I have to believe that turnout will be almost as high as 2004. This, to me, bodes well for Corker at least and if I may, I would offer for your consideration that polls are going to be shown to be way off the mark this year. I have not met many depressed republicans nor have i met many energized democrats. My prediction is that the mainstream media has badly miscalculated this year's potential for democrats.

Does anyone currently subscribe to a satellite radio service such as Sirius Satellite or XM radio? If so, how do you like it? If you have experienced both, which is the better? Thanks for any input. Pat.

I hate to raise the question for fear of being on the slippery side of ignorance, but I feel compelled: In discussing the composition (assumed) of the groups who would contribute, mold and influence the post-Taliban governance of Afghanistan, SecState Colin Powell intimated that members of the Northern Alliance would likely have a minimal or even non-existent role in the shaping of said power structure because, to paraphrase, THEY REPRESENT ONLY 15% OF THE POPULATION. THAT AS AN ETHNIC GROUP THEIR NUMBERS WERE TOO SMALL TO REALISTICALLY INCLUDE THEM IN ANY POST-WAR COALITION GOVERNMENT. I am pretty sure I heard the ...

Citizens, I ask your help. It is not news or a surprise that many traditional values have been cast aside in our society. My question- Who is most to blame? and what can be done about changing things so that our cultural environment is such that those values are once again main-stream? My personal contributions to this list would include: Corporate Public Broadcasting System, ACLU, NEA, confiscatory taxation, and ABA. Since it is in vogue to create lists of your "enemies" what would this list contain. Thank you.

For those of you who offered kind words and prayers this past week, a bit of news on the Gore sign-kicking episode in Maryville TN on Feb21, 2001. First, thanks to all who wrote personal messages and those who offered wise advice. As for the punishment....$10.00 fine plus court costs. 6 months unsupervised probation. 10 days in jail (suspended) on the condition I do not vandalize any more campaign signs. All-in-all, a slap on the wrist. The mitigating circumstances: sign in right of way. I should have just pulled it up and walked on. Lesson learned. Would I do it ...
  • A Year in Jail for This? Political statement or lawlessness?

Sorry for the vanity post, but I may need some legal guidance here for an event that took place on February 21, 2001 in Maryville, TN. On that day at approximately 11:00 am, as I waited with anticipation for President Bush's motorcade to pass through our fair town, I noticed an Al Gore 2000 campaign sign erected in the right-of-way directly in front of the Local 309 steelworkers union hall. I must tell you that i feel very passionately about my politics and have become endeared to the possibilities that exist with George W. Bush in the White House. I ...
