In the video, Ben Carson says he will be at the debate. They don’t discuss any other candidates, but it references the two Trump campaign tweets above. So Trump will very likely announce the VP this week to throw off the Biden campaign, the media and all the rest. It’s not just fake news.
Love Dr. Carson. He is a genuinely decent, Godly man. But I’m afraid the age thing would haunt him.
Trump will toy with the media until the convention.

Dr. Ben is way too shy and polite to survive a live debate from some Dem Swamp Thing. Imagine Paul Ryan in tbzt infamous “debate” with the real Joe Biden, except in this visual, Paul is wearing blackface and his hair has turned white. I greatly admire Dr. Carson. but today’s Dems have turn most top elections into less a cerebral exercise, more a contact sport, where some rule breaking is openly encouraged. Like hockey.

In direct response to that statement, media interest in the debate has probably tripled. The hunt will be on to find and reveal that person, ahead of Trump’s schedule for the Big Reveal.

Well, I do think it will be a woman.
Picking a VP that might help you win a state can be important, but that usually doesn’t happen. Mostly a VP should be a “do no harm” type of pick. Some picks can cost you votes. I think that picks like Stefanik or Vivek would definitely cost more votes than they would help. Gabbard and Haley might do the same, although that perhaps isn’t as clear cut. Carson would be a safe pick. DeSantis would be a great pick in the eyes of many.
But we may see someone out of the blue. In the 2016 primary, the only Republican candidates who didn’t cold shoulder Trump were Carson, Mike Huckabee, and Rick Santorum. It would be a surprise, but who knows?
