    Correct.

As long as the Repubs just stand around like a punch drunk boxer in the ring with their fists down, they are going to get plastered.

They should be going on the attack. Dig up dirt on Pelosi and Reid and hit them back. And at the same time move forward with their agenda.

I agree that movies can be an art form.

"Gone with the Wind", "The Ten Commandments", "The Last of the Mohegans", "Glory", "The Mask of Zorro", "Saving Private Ryan", "Band of Brothers", "The Last Samurai", "High Noon", "The Lord of the Rings Trilogy", "Master and Commander" are some of my favorites.

But the pure sex and violence flicks or movies like "Silence of the Lambs", "Halloween 7", etc. - garbage.

Sorry if you felt insulted by my statement. While many movies do not fit the category I implied, I stand by my statement with regards to the overwhelming barrage of material generated by Hollywood and the people employed there.

They, in general, project cultural values which are antithetical to traditional American ones and are incompatible with traditional Judaeo-Christian values.
Most unfortunately, these values have become more and more prevalent and acceptable in society at large, and I presonally feel Hollywood has contributed to that.

Based on the popularity of some of Hollywood's most outstanding degenerates, it hardly appears that my statement, when viewed as a generalization, can be refuted.

"Bigots ( including Wahabbis) are free to believe that Moslems or any other religion deserve "persecuting"- however if they act on that belief they'll face "prosecuting".

Although I agree with you in principle, its not that simple. Advocating the violent overthrow of the United States government should be subject to persecution, and it has been in th recent past.

Freedom of speech is not absolute. When someone states "The United States government is an anti-Islamic govnernment. People of conscience should oppose anti-Islamic governments." I believe that statement is protected. On the other hand if somebody states "All true Muslims should work to violently overthrow the tyrannical U.S. government and we are having a meeting tomorrow to discuss how to blow up Congress", that statement is NOT protected speech, I believe.

My point is that there is a fine line between what is constitutionally protected free speech protesting government action and actually advocating the overthrow of the government by violent means. I believe Wahhabist clerics cross that line every day in this Country. They generate hate speech against America and Christians and against Jews and even other Muslim sects and individuals who disagree with them. Fortunately, thus far, the impact in America has been minimal, but the Muslim population here is quite small, far smaller in proportion than in western Europe where violent actions by Wahhabist and other extremist Islamist elements occurs every day and is gorwing in frequency.

What Wahhabists preach in America is essentially what they preach in Saudi Arabia and it is violent, sexist, anti-western, and intolerant. And Wahhabi Muslims control most of the Mosques and Madrassahs in the U.S., bankrolled by petrodollars from the Saudi oil sheiks.

This is really a very serious time for America, for western civilization, and for the principles upon which our nation was founded. They are all under threat from various directions.

Mrs. Smith, you added Muslim Americans. True, persecuting someone purely for religious beliefs is not correct, unless those beliefs are dangerous to society.

Suppose some religion preached child sacrifice? Would persecuting them be indefensible?

Most average Muslims are probably like everybody else. But the radical anti-western Wahhabists and those who think like them should be definitely beyond the pale of any protection. And yet we see no apparent efforts to stop these people here or anywhere in the west.

They could very well become the NAZIs of tomorrow here, as they are the NAZIs of today in other parts of the world.

He indeed overestimates the integrity of the movie viewing public in America.

I don't quite understand the "Yawn".

We must indeed never forget, but forget we have in the face of Islamofascist terror in Saudi Arabia and the Sudan.

But we should at the same time be leery of condemning all Germans.

Hitler never won an election in a free Germany. He manipulated the mechanism of Government to create a terror
state in which any criticism of him or his movement was a sentence of death.

We need look no further than the recently deceased Max Baer, German world championship boxer. When Hitler tried to get him to join the NAZI Party, he refused. Baer, a popular figure in Germany at the time, was then drafted in to the military and at Hitler's direct orders, forced into the paratroopers and sent on one of the most dangerous operations of the war, in which Baer, fortunately survived.

Or Rommel. Handed orders by the madman from Austria to kill all allied troops in North Africa before evacuating to Germany, he burned the orders and deliberately ignored them. Correcly implicated in a plot to kill the lunatic Austrian corporal, he was ordered to commit suicide or see his family punished for his actions.

Nor should we forget those few Germans who also aided the Jews - men like Schindler.

The point here is we should never be so naive as to assume what happened in Germany could never occur anywhere else, that it a unique German disorder. It is difficult for Americans today to understand what it is like to live under a madman and his depraved henchmen when you cannot organize, resist or arm yourself.

It could happen here. The targets may not be Jews - they may just be fellow Americans - but the tactics will be the same - the illegal usurpation of public power and control by a demogogue or band of demagogues. And I view our activist courts as potential agents of a similar circumstance.

This trap that African = Black was set years ago when American black radical insisted on calling themelves Afro-Americans to distinguish themselves from Euro-Americans.

This deliberate distortion of fact ignores the ethnicity of Berbers, Ancient Egyptians, etc. who were most certainly African, but by no means black. I have even read that seom people assume Hannibal was black.

By no means do I mean to intimate that Black Africa never produced any ancient civlizations - it did. There were Black African civilizations in Meroe and in Kush and Ethiopia was the first nation to officially adopt Christianity.

Black Africans have enough heritage of their own without any need to steal from other ethnic groups.

The Republic of Mexico is a rogue nation and an enemy of the U.S. By its continual assistance to illegal aleins who violate our borders it has signalled its resolve to retake the American southwest.

I don't care who is running Mexico as long as they recognize the sanctity of our borders.

To insure a political victory in the midterms, the Republicans must satisfy their base.

They can only do this by clamping down on illegal immigrants, forcing Mexico to stop the exodus of their citizens into the U.S., using the "nuclear option" to get conservatives appointed to the Court, and stop pandering to the liberal establishment. With the Senate leadership they currently have, this will be a difficult task. Too many Senate Republicans are philosphical liberals, while the majority of House Republicans are true to Republican principles. I really wish we had some of the dogmatic ideologues the Democrats enjoy on our side instead of the caspar milquetoast Frists and McCains.

Bush's behavior on the border issue is most puzzling and I can't imagine why he is acting the way has towards Fox. Nor can I understand why he and the Republicans in Congress blinked when the Courts stared back over the Schiavo issue. That poor woman should never have been starved and dehydrated to death. Her death through judicial decree opens the floodgate to euthanisia for the mentally impaired and will give the Courts an incentive to behave in an even more outrageous and superior fashion in the future.

As soon as the federal courts ignored the law passed by congress, federal troops should have been used to take posession of her and spare her life until the kind of thorough medical inquiry this case merited.
