Had 10 days of shingles on my face, followed by years of post-herpetic neuralgia. The worst pain ever for weeks, screaming while being tortured for 5 minutes every few hours as PHN waves would reappear, until my neurologist prescribed gabapentin and amitriptyline. I took those for a few months until the waves went away.
Still feel the effects 9 years later, even as I’m sitting here writing this. Took the Shingrix shot later, happily.

Anyone remember the Chlorophyl fad way back when? Food, pharma, candy/gum, and other manufacturers suddenly started putting it into their products, claiming chlorophyl’s “miraculous” ability to eliminate odors. Green was everywhere and in everything. Until someone pointed out that sheep, goat, cows, etc all eat chlorophyl while they’re grazing, and they stink to high heaven.
Point is, every few years manufacturers lose their collective minds until the cold hard slap of reality wake them from their trance. We’re witnessing the beatdown now.
Sitting on my couch right now getting over a mild case of CV. Hit it hard with IVM (Trigger-approved), quercetin, zinc, and bromelain Day 1. I take C and D daily already. Except for no senses of taste or smell and some remaining head and body aches it wasn’t bad at all. No fever this time either.

The 5th Circuit Court already applied a national injunction against the pistol brace rule in November. What does this decision do that the November one doesn’t?
We all die of something. If my spinocerebellar ataxia doesn’t do it then something else will before then. In the mean time I’m enjoying the time I have left. Will despairing over the inevitable add one day to my life?

Earwigs are really bad. One crawled into my ear when I was living in a basement in college. Only thing that got it out was pouring rubbing alcohol into my ear. Slept with ear plugs from then on.

Mark Felton has a great YT channel. Same for Drachinifel, History Guy, Yarnhub, Greg’s Airplanes, Armoured Carriers, The Museum of Flight, The Tank Museum (Bovington), Military Aviation History, The History Underground, and Simple History, just to name a few.
I can easily blow an entire lunch break on these without realizing it.
Wonder how much of the Chinese population drives long distances, such as on vacations. Wonder how much of the Chinese rural population drives electric vehicles to get from town to town. People shoving 100% EV down our throats do not think about those who don’t live in cities.
