WASHINGTON (Politicrux) — When Democrat Representative Seth Moulton on CNN claimed 76% 0f all political violence came from the right and only 4% came from the left collective conservative audiences all over America fell off their chairs. However, his comment did prove one age old expression that there are “lies, lies, damn lies and statistics” and it confirmed, whoever writes and records history has outsized power to shape the political narrative. Nowhere is that power more evident than in how political violence is portrayed in America.

A customer's attempt to honour the late conservative activist by having his name printed on her cup was reportedly denied, with a barista claiming the company's system blocks "political names."

Fascism, as an ideology and system of governance, has no single universal definition. Scholars generally describe it authoritarian ultranationalism characterized by dictatorial power, forcible suppression of opposition, and strong regimentation of society and the economy. Historical examples, primarily from Mussolini's Italy (1922–1945) and Nazi Germany (1933–1945), illustrate its core traits, though variations exist across regimes. 2 sources Below, I address each question based on these examples and scholarly analyses.Does the leader take away guns? Fascist leaders typically implemented strict gun control to disarm potential opponents and consolidate power, though enforcement varied and often favored regime loyalists. In Mussolini's Italy, the...

Michelle Obama shared a sweet birthday message to her husband, former President Barack Obama, on his birthday. The 44th president of the United States turned 61 years old on 4 August. Michelle Obama, 58, commemorated her husband’s birthday by posting a throwback picture of the ex commander-in-chief to social media along with a sweet caption. “Happy birthday to my honey!” she wrote. “Life with you just keeps getting better every year. You always make me proud. I love you.” The photo featured a young Barack Obama looking away from the camera while wearing a retro printed shirt. On Instagram, Michelle’s...

Hillary Clinton. Barbara Mikulski. Dianne Feinstein. Nancy Pelosi. Samantha Power. Janet Reno. Donna Shalala**. Debbie Wasserman Schultz. Barbara Boxer. What do all of these women have in common? They are Democrats. And they are butt ugly. Mere statistics alone would suggest if you got a dozen or so Democrat women politicians together there would be some glimmer of attractiveness, no matter how dim, somewhere. But you would be wrong. However, now, thanks to SCIENCE, we know why: Research has found that being attractive influences many things in a person’s life — their salary, their popularity and grades in school, even...

TRAILER AT LINK 14 years ago today I debuted my documentary HILLARY! UNCENSORED at Harvard on and East Coast swing that included a showing at the oldest Republican club in New York City. During the 2008 election cycle, there were 21 million views of various clips of the documentary. As you may recall, Obama barely won in several primaries and stole what she thought was rightfully hers. She always believed she was destined to become the most powerful woman in history. For those who missed it, we chronicled the biggest campaign finance fraud up to that time. And she got...

Driving the news: On Monday, a new group, Front Row, will launch a political NFT marketplace — and only allow Democratic campaigns and causes to use it. The first NFTs for sale will be digital collectibles from the Texas Democratic Party. For example, for $250, a political activist can purchase a digital "Wanted" poster, with animation, of different Texas lawmakers who fled the state this year in a failed effort to block its new restrictive voting law.

In yet another unjust crackdown, China has decided to ban all video games that feature gay relationships or portrays male characters as ‘unmanly’. As per several reports, it has been revealed through a leaked memo that the Xi Jinping government is about to ban all video games that allow players to choose if they want to good or evil, have gay relationships of effeminate male characters. The Chinese government is slowly becoming synonymous to 'ban', and this order is only bound to solidify this notion. Video games are no longer being treated as a source of entertainment in China. The...

WASHINGTON — Macho men are in and effeminate male performers are out as Beijing expands its crackdown on China’s entertainment industry, blaming the rise of unmanly men on U.S. influence in Japan. Male celebrities, even top moneymakers, are changing their images seemingly overnight now that China’s National Radio and TV Administration and other government agencies have made it clear that men who can be described as “niang pao,” a derogatory term for effeminate men, are no longer suitable role models. New government controls call for broadcasters to enforce a “correct beauty standard” and to stop booking male celebrities who fail...

In recent years, long-term trends in economic inequality have attracted growing attention from social scientists, which also reflects civil society’s increasing awareness of the deepening economic disparities. In this context, particular attention has been paid to the share of the total income or wealth earned/owned by the top of the distribution – usually the top 1%, 5% or 10% among individuals or households. The share of the top richest is both interesting per se (as it is informative of “how rich” the better-off are), and as an indicator of the overall trends in economic inequality. New time series of wealth...

FReeper John Moran, a FDNY Battalion Commander, was one of the heroes who lost his life trying to save people 20 years ago today. His brother John spoke at Concert for New York a short time later and his words inspired the song. A couple years later I had the great honor to join some other FReepers at a NY Irish pub to meet John and join in singing the song. My former son-in-law was aboard the USS Enterprise and heading home when we were attacked. They turned that great ship around and America began fighting back in a massive...

International firm KTGY architecture + planning proposes re-habit, a plan to convert vacant, big box stores into smaller retail spaces and units to provide housing, employment, and support for homeless individuals. developed by the firm’s research + development studio, the project brings together two ongoing issues in the US, the homelessness crisis and the record number of closing big box stores, such as macy’s JC penney, and sears, repurposing those into self-supporting, mixed-use transitional housing. But what happens when the veep's chair opens up, either because he's "promoted" to president or something happens to him while he's No. 2? (Note: Yes, all the male pronouns still apply as of this writing.) Those circumstances are provided for in the 25th Amendment to the Constitution, which was passed in 1967. Section 2 states: "Whenever there is a vacancy in the office of the Vice President, the President shall nominate a Vice President who shall take office upon confirmation by a majority vote of both Houses of Congress." So whether the VP becomes president — and the 25th...
