I was prescribed statins for being slightly over the “new” cholesterol guidlines - and told my Dr. I wasn’t gonna take ‘em. Express scripts sent them anyway at his direction and they sat in my medicine cabinet.

When it was way past time to refill - I got a call from an ExpressScripts “counselor” asking me why I hadn’t refilled - offering to connect me with a pharmacist for a consultation regarding why I wasn’t complying. They asked me if my Dr knew about my non compliance and I told them to stick it.

Personal health monitors are fine if you want to use them. Government monitors - seriously?
