I understand that our Constitution applies only to Americans. That doesn’t stop the fundamental ideas in it from being pushed elsewhere in the world. I am pointing out the two main arguments being pushed.
Im sure it is true in many cases that private schools have strict standards for admission. Even still a study with their performance vs. the top performers in public schools would be interesting. Im not sure if that has been done before. I do know that private schools have been largely successful. The school voucher program is good evidence that they perform better than public schools. Glenn Beck did a good job laying out the statistics in Arguing with Idiots. Its not surprising why Obama killed the program in D.C. He has to keep the failing public schools well funded to keep the Democrat voting bloc happy. Home schooling is another issue along the lines of private schools. Home schooled students have skyrocket specifically in Texas. Ill leave you to ponder why that number has jumped. A little on home schooling and private schools here.
Thanks HG. To correct the record, I cited myself as the author and that video as a source. I know it is hard to understand, but there is a difference. Thankfully, the YouTube video author was kind enough to allow Embedding so that his video could be shared by others. Isn’t technology great!
My grandfather raises cattle. Recently he told that due to the costs of raising them for beef (corn, wheat, grains, etc.) that next year they will likely go for double the price. This year is already up 23% over last years price.
