"The North American economy remained robust overall thanks to the consumption of high-income earners, despite a persistently inflationary, elevated interest rate and deteriorating employment environment," Seven & I Holdings said in an earnings release. "In this context, there was a more prudent approach to consumption, particularly among middle- and low-income earners."

Let’s just see where the locations of these stores are. Any store that has a high level of shoplifting is naturally going to be a “poor performer”.
Harris: “let them eat cake, they can get it at Whole Foods, since 7-11 is closed”
Wawa has been pushing 7-11 s out around here for a long time. There would be a lot of overlap in areas affected by illegal migration and the shoplifting you speak of.I think the economic analysis the company provides speaks for itslf.
Sometimes it’s poor business choices.
Example: here in our local town, there were two 7-11’s, on the same street on each side of the interstate.
Now why would they do that? They shuttered one of them this year.
“thanks to the consumption of high-income earners”
Someone is eating the rich?
“Wawa has been pushing 7-11 s out”
Not in Michigan yet but there is a Sheetz store near the airport. Checked it out and was pleasantly surprised.
Convenience stores aren’t convenient anymore. I needed some toilet paper and didn’t want to go five miles to the nearest grocery store so I stopped at three convenience stores along the way. None of them sold toilet paper. They only sold only beer, soda, snacks and gas.
Might as well close them. We had a 7-Eleven open 2 or 3 years ago. There are no other stores a mile around it as the area was/is sort of rural. Within 6 months the store was run down, smelly and ugly. 7-Elevens used to all be neat and clean. Japanese owned now I think.
What is “Wawa”?
The stores that sell many cigarettes will remain. Soon it will be just a cigarette shop.
Thanks. Looks like an east coast thing. I haven’t seen them in the Midwest.
They misspelled shoplifted into oblivion because of Democrat anti-police actions.
what? no more 7-11’s in the ‘hood? what will the young boo boo’s do for excitement? where will they hone their “picinic basket” stealing skills? 7-11 can afford it cause it’s run by rich white honkies! they OWES reparations. reparations and training...so these poor and disadvantaged boo boo’s have a place to can learn how to steal...oops, meant fend for themselves. doesn’t 7-11 owe them at least that?
Very true. Convenience stores sell milk but not butter.
The 7-Eleven a block from the Universal studios entrance in Orlando is a dirty ass Latino store. Taqis, taquitos, lime this or that, “seasoned” breakfast sandwiches. Basically cater to landscaping crews.
Translation: Corporatists who signed on to the globofascist new world order are raking in big bucks while laws, taxes and inflation are killing the average American.
WAWA is a convenience store chain on the east coast. NJ and PA not sure off other states. Of course if you are in the UK convenience means a totally different thing there.
I was surprised one 7/11 store advertises door dash (??) and ubereats (???)
I witnessed delivery folk picking up orders of extra large bags of chips and large soda pop for folks who were too busy (???) to spin by the 7/11 and get that stuff for themselves
Wawa is a big convenience store chain in the northeast part of the country, and it recent years, has opened a number of stores in Florida. They began as a dairy (probably more than 100 years ago) in the town of Wawa, Pennsylvania (hence the funny sounding name.)
