There’s a difference between someone slightly imperfect vs someone totally liberal. If Rudy is the new face of the GOP, we might as well stop being conservative now.

People act like I’m trying to sabeutage the GOP. Hannity even said the other night a vote for anyone else is giving half a vote to Hilary. Guess we’re really not a “big tent” anymore.

You may as well if Rudy gets the GOP nod......

This is the point I’m trying to get across. Folks like Hannity are trying to portray Guiliani as a good Republican choice.

If the election comes down to Hilary vs Rudy, it won’t be a simple case of blue vs. red. It’ll be blue vs purple.

So they fall back on saying, “well, yeah, he’s bad, but he’s not that bad,” I don’t want to vote for someone just because they’re not as bad a Hilary. That’s like eating pizza for dinner because it’s not as bad as McDonald’s....not the point!

“He has one set of values for Mass. voters and another set for the country. He is a lot slicker and polished than John Edwards of the Democrat party, but he is his equal when it comes to being a hypocrit.”

Amen old pro, I second and third and fourth it all! Mitt is a flip-flopper worse than John Kerry. He’d say Martians waged war on Jupiter if it won a Republican vote.

We banded together back in 2006 to keep control of Congress, and we all see how well that worked out.

If we were talking about supporting a decent Republican and easily defeating Hilary, then yes I’d be on board. But you can’t just toss up a pro-choice leader soft on gun control and gay rights, and expect the Bible belt to go along with it. This is literally the lesser of two evils.

I don’t want Hilary to win any more than you. But God a-mighty, I don’t want to spend the next four years defending someone I can’t stand. I voted for Bush in 2004 because I thought he would be more aggressive on convservative issues, and he has done about zero to help the religious right.

I’m not saying I won’t support any Republican. I’m saying don’t dress up a liberal in an elephant costume and tell me to vote for him or else.

When the going gets tough, Rudy bows to liberal pressure. He always has. I agree with some of the others on here: we can’t be sure he’ll do us proud once elected anyway.

“They put me to sleep in yesterday’s debate.”

So I’m not the only one who felt that way? No one seemed to have any fire in their belly. You can’t win a debate - especially against eight other people - by being timid.

I really like Huckabee, but he doesn’t come out swinging and stealing the spotlight, which is what the GOP needs right now. If all the good sound bites go to Rudy and Mitt, they’ll easily take the party nod.

So let me see if I got this right....

If the majority of American voters decide to send Hilary to the White House, it’s MY fault if that happens because I’m supposed to suck it up and vote for someone I don’t like?

I’m sorry, but no. I usually love Hannity but I disagree with him on this. What happens down the road when the stakes are even higher and the candidates are even worse? Do we chip away at our values until there’s nothing left?

If America is so bent on electing Hilary, that’s on them. I will NOT accept any guilt for their actions. I’m voting for whomever I like the most and sleeping with a clear conscience.

A pro-abortion leader will never, I repeat NEVER get my vote. Regardless of how much pressure comes from the left.

Well, it really depends on your definition of “investigate.” We’ll just get some think tank to print a “study” about how dangerous he is and use it to push the Fairness Doctrine. Then Nancy Pelosi can give a speech about how it’s “finally” time to crack down.

Just because Waxman isn’t doing it doesn’t mean it isn’t being done.
