I read a lot about this Ford woman. She did not start out as a ‘psych’ major (though she sounds psychotic now!) She was interested in the real sciences but couldn’t cut it. Could not pass the courses. Was advised to switch majors to psychology. (Snicker)

She was in opposition to her family early on re politics. She, the leftist, eventually gravitated to CA to reinvent herself; took up surfing, etc. It was an end to the east coast Preppie life for her.

Somehow she ended up in therapy back around ‘12 and whined about her supposedly terrible experience at age 15(?) where some kid jumped on top of her while she was fully dressed including a bathing suit. Nothing happened; oh wait, the boy supposedly put his hand over her mouth. Oh NO!

She is unclear about the locale, who was there, the date, including the year, apparently! Gee, that makes for a credible story...NOT.

I think the woman is crazy; and her story NOT believable. The stories since hers have been even more laughable, one just today! The fact that an experienced female from AZ will be questioning Ford in front of the Senate tells me that Ford will end up NOT testifying at all. All the left wanted to do here was create sufficient doubt. Thus far it has not worked. Let’s see what happens over the next couple of days but I say, TAKE THE BLASTED VOTE!

Exactly right. This third idiot is the most amusing. I knew days ago there would be more nitwit females piling on. All this actually makes them look worse, however, even more ridiculous. This is how the DNC wants to spend its money, evidently.

Me to the Senate: Take the vote — and if Kavanaugh doesn’t make it, put up another candidate; then another. Trump has a slew of candidates who would vote on the Court the same way Kavanaugh would.

Was he a terrorist sympathizer? I’m suspicious! Did you see Foley’s tweets from two years ago? Find them and read up.

He seems to me to be a ‘journalist’ version of Bergdahl — even Foley’s parents seem very odd and in no way outraged enough over his death. It’s a horror, yes, but I have a lot more questions...

This was a morning fundraiser (for the DNC, I guess) at the Laguna Beach home of one of the 400 richest people in the USA - Anne Earhart, a Getty grandchild (around 60 years old).

Then BO was taken via Marine 1 to Anaheim Stadium where he addressed some 45K (graduates and guests) and spoke about global warming and healthcare and heaven knows what else... The grads were never really acknowledged and certainly not personally — no names called, no walk across the field, no handshake, nothing. They all had to stand in line to be searched, grads and guests alike, and were in that line for about 3 hours.

My cousin was there as her son was a grad. She had to get up at 4 a.m. to get there from an L.A. suburb — she said sun was brutal and she’s never seen so many ‘programs’ creatively turned into hats and visors as today. From a photo I saw, it looked like the crowd of guests was all wearing white ‘hats’ of some sort. What a fiasco!

What’s really weird is that Mooch is supposedly with him on this little excursion. She did not, however, attend the fundraiser this a.m. in Laguna Beach nor the UC Irvine graduation at Anaheim Stadium, instead choosing to remain in Rancho Mirage.

Maybe the homos took her shopping at their favorite haunts??? Guess she felt the need to come along on this latest AF 1 flight since she hasn’t had a vacay in at least two weeks, right?

I’m not too surprised -— he’s not been appearing on television nonstop like many of the others — no gimmicks, no nonsense, no bluster, just a hard worker who has done what he said he would do and beaten back a nasty recall at the same time. Oh, and Limbaugh loves him — great interview with him in the latest newsletter.

My vote goes to Walker if he wants to run - proven conservative governor in a very blue state.

Re: “The Military has been turned into just another social program”

Agree — very poorly written bill and deserved to be voted down. Gym memberships for overweight vets, just to name one ridiculous expense —

Extra medical benefits for injuries NOT incurred during combat???? Sounds more like another giveaway program to me. I’ve known a number of people who joined the military for the benes, then screamed bloody murder when they actually had to DO something while there.

Not dissimilar to those joining police and fire departments for the benefits, retiring after 20 years for a generous pension; then starting new careers. Don’t believe me? I’ve got plenty of stories and it’s the truth. Public service in recent decades has become a joke.

Agree — I preferred to watch The Bachelor wedding on TV Sunday night instead. The ‘Bachelor’couple, married by the groom’s father, a minister, was absolutely beautiful and the couple truly seems to love each other.

It was a very traditional ceremony and their vows were lovely. Best wishes to Sean and Catherine, the newly married couple, but a big pox on the nonsense over on the freakish Grammy show. Blecchh!

RE: Did I say that? I lived 37 years in Chicago area. I know more about stolen elections that you will learn in a lifetime.

Which only means we have to win by substantial margins to overcome fraud. Why so many republicans win in every election? If fraud was omnipotent there would be no republicans in congress and win WH once every so often.

    ****************

Ahh, Chicago — my hometown — parents and grandparents from there, too. Heard all my life about the corruption, the stolen elections, all of it. Cook County, IL, the site of the vote fraud of 1960, JFK re Nixon. Cook County GAVE JFK that election. The Chicago way... you keep counting until you have the votes you need. Doesn’t matter how you get ‘em, just get ‘em!

I think the kid who appears somewhat ‘white’ in that photo, and whose middle name is ‘Dewayne,’ is half black, just like the POTUS. POTUS would probably be even whiter than he appears if his father was not such a very dark black Kenyan...

Note that this kid has a wide nose and rather large lips for a run of the mill white kid. He could easily be half black.

I would think he IS, given the small number of blacks in that town. No real reason to socialize with the other two if he isn’t a ‘brother.’

Yes, just 7% of providers of individual health in CA.

Seems insignificant yet I and several people I know are affected and that’s just a few people out of millions in the state. It adds up.

Fewer choices in the exchanges equals less competition and higher prices. But we knew this would happen.

I worked in legal for Blue Cross of CA for well over a decade. We knew back in 1999 (and earlier) that all of this would happen. Disgusting.

RE UnitedHealth, Aetna and Cigna opt out of California insurance exchange

This was back a few weeks ago (note it pertains to not offering policies through the exchange). The three held only 7% of market share.

RE: “I wish there were a national registry of some sort for these guys so we could find them more easily. Optometrists and dentists, too.”

Just search ‘concierge doctors’ in whatever your area is and a list should come up. There are numerous organizations they belong to. One of them is MidVIP. I’ve never known a dentist or optometrist to discount for cash but many specialists do and certainly GP/internists.

I’ve gotten good discounts from Orthopedists, Internists and Dermatologists; also Opthalmologists. If you don’t ask, you’ll never know. Most docs I’ve discussed this with (and their staffs) are pleased to accept your cash (or credit cards). No co-pays, no billbacks, no hassles. It’s so EASY.

I do carry a (lousy and overpriced, partly due to upcoming BO ‘care’) — hospitalization policy because those are the costs that really wipe you out. But even hospitals discount for cash and take payments; often very little per month.
