What does EU have that Russia needs? Or What does Russia have that EU needs? If its about security, fine make your treaties. Protection for all, get off the war making, no one wants anymore wars. Talk, talk, talk, put the swords away. The 19th Century Royals screwed it all up, and gave us what we have today. Diplomacy needs to be pushed, more talking, not more weapons and destruction.Trade treaties means cooperation among all. Russia has resources, lots of them. They don’t need anything from the west, especially enemies. Lets see what the next 4 yrs. bring. I am being optimistic.

Back in the 50’s when I was a preteen I would get up early in the morning on Monday a.m. and run up and down the neighbor hood streets and collect all the Sunday NYT papers I could find. I got 1 cent a pound for Newspapers that I collected for the junk man. The NYT was the sourse of my income, it turned out as the only reason I liked them. The Sunday times was about 3-4” thick back then.(And now??) Seems to me they were always preferred by the leftists and pushed by the leftist educators in school.They are nothing now compared to what they were. But the NYT is still good for wrapping fish guts. Am I the only person that sees Putin as a leader trying to control and protect his 12 time zone country with a population of about 135M? I see lots of outside speculators and tons of money to be made if they can remove Putin. Like it or not, Russia may not be #1, but it can come close. When Democrats seek to control, you can bet it will get us in a war. AGAIN! They need an enemy for us to fear whether or not they are a real enemy. I see Trump and Putin across a table talking it out, more than any Democrat doing it, without being vindictive, and with a superiority complex. Sadly at 85 I can’t do $#!t anymore to change it.

I am of the opinion that who ever pays AOC to speak, she will say whatever they feed her. She’s a puppet on a string, but she is profiting from it. We did similar atrocities, war brings out the worst in people, not the best. I served with many of the WW II guys, they told me that a lot of bad s#!t happened in WW II and Korea. As the population grows and moves beyond the WW II years, that village may end up as a condo complex. All that is needed is for someone to offer enough $$$$ to the politicians to allow the purchase and make the change. Politicians can change history, and they often do.
