A Russian military expert stunned Kremlin hawks when he revealed that Ukraine's army currently enjoys a significant advantage over Putin's army. There is growing confidence among Russia's pro-war faction that Vladimir Putin can achieve all his military goals in Ukraine.
Western analysts believe that Putin's aims have not changed since he launched his full-scale invasion of the neighbouring country, and that he is more than ever determined to seize all of Ukraine. With Donald Trump seemingly unwilling to get tough with Russia, many Kremlin supporters are starting to smell victory. However, Andrey Klintsevich warned that Ukraine's army was still a formidable fighting force and in some areas was clearly stronger than Putin's troops.
Appearing on the TV show "The Meeting Place", the 44-year-old military expert highlighted the technological advances Ukraine's army had made.
"The most frightening thing for us - and where we need our own breakthrough - is that we already see the beginnings of the use of AI in a digital battlefield," he said.
"A system analyses our movements using multiple data points, notes any anomalies or patterns and tells the (Ukrainian) commander 'Most likely the Russians will attack at this stage'.
"An experienced commander may notice this, but an inexperienced one is receiving this tip.
"We see that we are being outpaced in our actions. We just start to move and some action already starts.
"This means that the speed has greatly increased. NATO is helping our adversary. Google companies got into it. It is now becoming a big problem."
Klintsevich said he was in constant communication with soldiers serving directly on the frontlines.
He explained they had noticed a "quantum leap" in Ukraine's electronic warfare capabilities, which has increased the ability of Kyiv's army to defend themselves from and destroy Russian drones.

Thank you very much and God bless you.
“”The most frightening thing for us - and where we need our own breakthrough - is that we already see the beginnings of the use of AI in a digital battlefield,” he said.”
Not sure who this clown is, but if he’s right, we’ll then see how well AI can intercept Hypersonic missiles.
He is talking about Palantir, whose software has greatly increased the lethality of Ukrainian attacks on Russian armor and troops. This is a very underreported aspect of this conflict.
The man is a political scientist and YouTube commentator. There is no indication that he has served in the military or had formal education in military matters. It does not appear that he is much of a “military expert”.
The US and the EU are using the Ukraine as development ground for new , disruptive technology and the use of AI in many transformative and disruptive ways.- especially in the areas of ISR and weapons guidance and control technology.
“Western analysts believe that Putin’s aims have not changed since he launched his full-scale invasion of the neighbouring country, and that he is more than ever determined to seize all of Ukraine”
Hopefully, not the ones Trump is listening to.
We’ll see how well AI-driven guidance and control does against a missile that can outrun anything we have.
Drones could be optically controlled to avoid radio frequency jamming.
I recommend plenty of popcorn for watching these battles.
Another example of ridiculous propaganda coming from the British media.
In the News/Activism forum, on a thread titled Russian military expert stuns Kremlin hawks with 'frightening' Ukraine army assessment, silverleaf wrote: “Western analysts believe that Putin’s aims have not changed since he launched his full-scale invasion of the neighbouring country, and that he is more than ever determined to seize all of Ukraine”

Probably is referring to NATO analysts. They are losing and need a bump to motivate others to fight their war for them.
“see how well AI can intercept Hypersonic missiles”
Ukraine can build factories made up of small, dispersed buildings.
The officers might meet in various barracks at various times.
Each officer might sleep in a different barracks.
Their meals could be brought to them.
Putin would like all of Ukraine.
If at some point in the future, he thinks he can get it, he’ll grab it.
That’s why the war must be stopped long-term ASAP.
Putin has probably authorized massive new weapons development and production.
I would think Ukraine is already doing what you say.
“Can the Uke Nazis be sure that the AI is their friend, or is just shining ‘em on.”
You can be sure the US military is trying to make use of AI and is testing systems out using Ukraine.
The most fair assessment one could make is that Russia prepared for 70-odd years to fight the ‘grand’ land war, with supreme control via tanks.
They walk into the first 60 days...expecting a weak situation, and bluff their way to controlling Ukraine. With anti-tank weapons, superior intelligence, and the introduction of drones...the Ukrainians have eliminated the one strength that Russia had (tank warfare).
“I would think Ukraine is already doing what you say.”
I tend to doubt it because the Russians are still trying to hit targets in Ukrainian cities.
“the one strength that Russia had (tank warfare)”
Artillery and mortars work. It’s a matter of locating targets.
Can the US Military be sure that the AI is their friend, or is just shining ‘em on?
“I tend to doubt it because the Russians are still trying to hit targets in Ukrainian cities.”
You may have a point - why bother to decentralize if not necessary, as decentralization leads to productivity hits...quite possibly BIG productivity hits.
