    It should be safe to say that it is perfectly acceptable to cancel the fourth of July as a paid holiday. Particularly if you are a Freeper business owner. Many of the grievances stated as the reason for the original declaration has been far surpassed. At the Boiling point house hold it will no longer be celebrated but mourned. Old glory will forever be relegated to a historic relic of a once great nation. It no longer represents the uplifting patriotic, proud feeling it once did, nor does it represent a country currently worth fighting for. RIPUSA.

    I just got called by the American Cancer Society urging me to send a message to congressman Bart Gordon, (6th district TN), in support of the health care bill. The caller started out by saying that the A.C.S. is a non partisan organization and is only interested in the health of cancer victims. After telling him I was opposed to the bill, he thanked me and hung up. If the A.C.S. is truly non-partisan, then what are they doing campaigning for Obama care? And as far as being interested in the welfare of cancer victims, I guess they don't think...

    For those interested in such things. Freepers that have farm experience are aware of how efficient diesel tractors are. I put five gallons in mine and bush hog all summer. Here is a link to some guys that convert vehicles to tractor power and have gotten as much as 50mpg from a full size pickup! http://www.shadetreeconversions.com/

Twenty one year old Sheldon Hope and Twenty eight year old Joseph John, attempted to rob the Smoke Depot, a convenience store owned by Magdi Danial. While pistol whipping Danial on the head, Hope dropped his gun behind the counter.
