(CBS/WMAZ) BATAVIA, N.Y. According to CBS affiliate WMAZ, Jacquetta Simmons, 26, was charged with two counts of second-degree assault, says State Police Trooper Tracy Patterson. Simmons faces the second count because the victim, 70-year-old Grace Suozzi, is over 65. On Sunday, Simmons was reportedly still being held in Genesee County Jail in lieu of $20,000 bail. Patterson said Simmons had receipts for everything in her bags, WMAZ reports.

Investigators said they are still searching for the source of the manure.

A man was shot dead after being accused by his killer of intentionally pouring water over his sister. Jimmy Parker from Chicago was confronted by Charles Sims, and shot eight times after denying any wrongdoing. Sims' sister had claimed that Parker had targeted her, however police investigations revealed that a faulty air conditioning unit was to blame for the spill. Upon learning of his sister's plight, Sims approached Parker, who having rejected the accusation, was punched and then shot repeatedly with a 9mm handgun. OXFORD -- Jury selection has been completed in the trial of a family pet python that killed a 2-year-old girl. In 2009, an 8-foot python snake killed Shaianna Hare as she slept in her crib in Sumter County. The girl's mother Jaren Hare and her boyfriend Charles Darnell, 34, are on trial for the child's death. The couple is facing manslaughter and child abuse charges. VANCOUVER — The mother of Robert Dziekanski, the Polish immigrant who died after being Tasered multiple times by RCMP officers at Vancouver International Airport, said Friday she's "pleased" that the officers involved will face perjury charges. TRIPOLI, Libya — Libyan leader Moammar Gadhafi survived a NATO missile strike Saturday that killed his youngest son and three grandchildren and wounded friends and relatives, Libya's spokesman said. Gadhafi and his wife were in the Tripoli house of son Saif al-Arab Gadhafi, 29, when it was hit by at least one missile fired by a NATO warplane, according to Libyan spokesman Moussa Ibrahim. Libyan officials took journalists to the one-story house in a wealthy residential neighborhood. A mother goose who apparently made friends with a male deer as she sat on her nest inside a Buffalo cemetery is now tending a brood of goslings. Forest Lawn Cemetery officials say the Canada geese have hatched and left the concrete urn where their mother had made her nest. The family waddled off to find a pond.
