The Democrats claimed that the Mexican violence was due to US guns. Then the statistics showed very few crimes were committed by US guns, SO the administration decided they wanted to change that. By Fast and Furious selling guns to the gangs, they could blame America and institute gun control laws.

I work at a crisis pregnancy clinic and we had a pregnant 15 year old girl that was told by Planned Parenthood that her period "was clogged" and if she took these pills her period would start again. The pills were RU486, the abortion pill.

An ultrasound at our clinic showed she was almost 7 weeks and the baby had a heartbeat. She wants to carry and choose adoption, but everyone around her is pushing abortion. Poor girl.

They accuse our clinics of lying to girls, but telling a girl it is a "clogged period" is a HUGE lie.

Yes, the pill is 98-99% effective, the condom only about 80% effective IF used correctly. Unfortunately, young adults don't take the pill every day at the same time, so it is less effective. As for condoms, they break, they may not be used every time, and often men put them on after they have released pre-ejaculate fluid that contains sperm.

At our Crisis Pregnancy Clinic, we have a lot of clients on the pill that get pregnant and even more that use condoms. That's why teaching "safe sex" is not effective.

I get very frustrated when we are compared to socialized medicine. We have wonderful medical care, and it is very available. If we change our health care system, no one will be able to get to most innovative care. In fact, no one will be able to afford "cutting edge" medical care. I do not understand why any one (ie Liberals) want to ruin our health care system. Yes, there are some problems, but I want to have options, not lines and LONG waits.

Your mother will be in a wonderful place since she knows the Lord. My prayers are for you, her husband and the family. You are the ones that need the prayers because she can't be replaced. Remember the things she taught you and all the great experiences. That will help you in your grief.

My mother died 3 years ago and I cried every night for a long time (3-4 minths). I didn't cry for her, because she was in heaven, I cried because I missed having her in my life. I imagine it will be the same for you.

Spend as much time with your Dad this next year. He will need your support. After many years, it's hard for a man to have the empty house at night. It is important to share with him your memories. It is important to allow him to talk about her, even though it it painful for you. I share your grief, but you will see her in heaven. Live the life she would have wanted you to live. Make her proud.

I perform ultrasounds at a Crisis Pregnancy Clinic and it is powerful. Unfortunately only about 30% of the abortion minded women at our clinic decide to carry their pregnancy.

Besides the ultrasound, we have maternity homes, parenting classes and lots of resources for the women. Often informing them about the help available will show them that they can carry and be successful.

Since about 15 - 20% of pregnancies end in a miscarriage, we can save woman a lot of pain if their pregnancy wasn't viable anyway.

I do ultrasounds at a crisis pregnancy clinic in Orange County California. It is a very powerful tool to let the woman see the baby.

One area the article is misleading is the medical necessity for the ultrasound. We make sure the pregnancy is in the uterus, an ectopic pregnancy is a life threatening condition. We can date the pregnancy to see how far along they are and most importantly we confirm that it is a viable pregnancy if there is a heartbeat. 15% -20% pregnancies end in miscarriage.

I've had several woman come in planning to abort, but it wasn't a viable pregnancy and they miscarried. I was so glad they didn't go through the trauma of the abortion.

As for pressuring or judging woman, at our clinic that is not true. Most of our clients that still decide to abort bring their pregnant friends because they know we can help. We are often told how warm and caring we are, not like Planned Parenthood.

Our clinic also has 3 maternity homes, a thrift shop where girls can get vouchers for maternity clothes, car seats, etc. We also offer free parenting classes where by coming they earn new baby clothes and diapers.

As the article says, we are saving one woman at a time.

You are so right. We also do STD testing and a large part of our counseling is on "sexual integrity". When we talk to the girls we often feel like no one has ever told them good reasons to wait until marriage for sex. So many of 16 year old girls have had 7 or more partners. It's hard to imagine.
