Hi All: The Headline of this morning's New York Post has inspired me to create a logo for a polo shirt - I want to embroider some shirts with "W2" in honor of President Bush's historic re-election. Would anyone be interested in helping me create a good logo?

John LeBoutillier's latest theory: Since the Dems have been voting in online polls far more aggressively than Republicans, one must conclude that the Dems are much more fired up and that our base is not. He argues that the online polls are a glimpse into the future - that perhaps conservatives will take this election for granted and stay home. I don't sense this, does anyone else?

I've been reading up on this Oil-For-Food Scandal that seems to be coming to a head rather quickly and the question I have is that there is SO MUCH the President can use to rebut Kerry and essentially destroy Kerry's Foreign Policy arguments - why isn't he doing so?

It seems the next thing worrying some Bush supporters are the upcoming debtes with Kerry - Hannity just mentioned that Kerry has a way to changet he subject and outright lie to make a point. What do you expect Team Bush will do to counter this?

I've been a member of Free Republic only a few months now, but have visited often since mid 2000. For the first time today I went over to the DU site and was appalled by the lack of respect over there. It was sickening to read the posts written over there - is it always like that over there or is this a reflection of their candidate's implosion?

I was a little surprised to hear what the president had to say in regards to winning the was on terror to Matt Lauer this morning. Does anyone know what Bush was trying to accomplish with his answer? It seems like an awful important point...

Listening to Fox News on my XM radio on the way home, I heard Carl Cameron roll out some poll numbers saying that most people believe Bush is behind the Swift Boat ads. The Kerry Campaign seems to think a backlash is looming? Can anyone bring my up to speed on this story?

Does anyone know where I can get information on what records Bush released in regards to his service in the National Guard? I'm trying to tell a liberal that he did release records. I need proof though

Rush Limbaugh was talking about a newspaper article whiich talked about how the Republicans in FLorida had better get their act together becasue the Democrats have an outstanding grassroots campaign. HE sadi somethig to the effect that if the article is correct the GOP had better get their act together or face a loss in FL. Any freepers in FL know what's going on? Is their more work to be done?

Hello Freepers: Like me I'm sure you're somewhat amused about the latest polling showing no bounce for Kerry / Edwards. While this news is encouraging we cannot give up the fight. I plan to donate to Bush / Cheney this week, and I've volunteered to help out at a Republican event next week as we gear up for the convention. We can still lose - never lose sight of that!!!

I keep reading and hearing in the news that the DOmcratic Party has never been as united as they are now. Terry McAulliffe has been all over the TV this weekend saying how great the democratic's current position is. Someone on CNN compared John Kerry to Ronald Reagan in 1980. So are the democrats really that united?

I'm checking the news cycle today and now all the pollsters seem to agree that Kerry and Bush are running neck-and-neck. Even the LA Times poll has the two closely matched. Isn't it a coincidence that these polls tighten up right in time for the DNC? Now the liberal media can go back to their bias polls and make it look like Kerry got a huge bounce. Did any of you get a chance to read about the latest Pew Research Poll conducted July 8-18th? It's on the cover of Newsmax. The poll basically says that Democrats are trending upwards as they head into the convention next week. Kerry is tied with Bush on Foreign Policy issues and he's thumping Bush on the economy. Yet the race is still a dead heat... Your thoughts...

Hi All: We're under 4 months until the general election and I'm wondering what the general sentiment is out there. Latest NBC Poll has Kerry up 2 points - although the latest AP has Bush up 4. I did see that more people think Edwards is more qualified to be president vs. Cheney, 47% to 38% (Ugh!!) What are you thoughts freepers?

I had a heated discussion with a liberal friend of mine about America and President Bush. I was being fed the typocal liberal line about the United States being imperialistic and bullies. I asked my friend that if we were imperialists why did we give Germany, Japan, France, etc. back after we liberated them. "WW II was different" is the response I got back. When I asked for specific examples my friend could come up with ZERO!! And then started to cry and said that I would lose friends because I sound crazy and looney - CHECKMATE!!!!

According to a blurb on Drudge, Kerry's campaign raised over $3 MILLION on Wednesday alone - causing the server's computers to crash. This cannot be ignored. Anyone read Ruddy's column about Michael Moore on Newsmax? He essentially said Moore's film is changing minds and needs to be taken seriously My question is - Does the president's campaign team plan to counter this soon - is there a great plan that they're following, or should we be worried?

A friend of mine who tells me he isn't liberal, but an admitted Bush Basher sent me the following email this morning: "This is all a theater, the real criminal is Bush," Saddam said, during one outburst, referring to the U.S. president My Friend's response is below: man, i couldnt agree with him more How do you combat this?
