Their position is anti-USA, anti-Israel, and pro-PLO. In other words, they've never met a terrorist they didn't like, but they are all hot & bothered whenever a country (such as the USA or Israel) asserts its right of self-defense. During the week of May 2 - 9, the sad remnants of the "peace" (i.e., "appeasement") movement are hoping to make a media splash by holding an event called "A Funeral for Democracy" on college campuses. The sponsor is an alleged "student" group called the Student Peace Action Network (SPAN), which appears to be a front for commie sympathizers (see Michael Tremoglie's article at http://www.frontpagemag.com/Articles/ReadArticle.asp?ID=5039). This lecture is notable for two reasons. (1) Dr. Schultz was among the chief architects of President Reagan's successful effort to topple the "Evil Empire." There was an impressive show of support for our troops and our Commander in Chief this afternoon in Harvard Square, Cambridge. Yes, you read that correctly: HAHVUD SQUARE! Right in the middle of zip code 02138, "the most opinionated zip code in America" according to a popular local T shirt. I estimate that there were at least 25 of us waving the Stars and Stripes and cheering for the good 'ole US of A. A brief report from "behind enemy lines" at Park Street, Boston --------------------- A merry band of weather-resistant patriots was on hand this afternoon to greet an Appeasenik rally at Park Street. My Fellow Freepers included Lev the photographer and Aaron the poet. We handed out "FREE IRAQ" posters, an "ANSWER is not the Answer" flyer, and some brilliant propaganda pieces from www.protestwarrior.com (check it out).
