OPERATION: "REMEMBER the ACHILLE LAURO" GOAL: Distract the pro-PLO goon squad DATE: Sunday, May 9th (Mothers Day) TIME: 11:00 a.m. to 2:30 p.m. LOCATION: Watertown Square (corner of Mount Auburn & Main Street/Route 20, accessible via Bus #71 from Harvard Square) The Arafat-huggers and terror-apologists are at it AGAIN! Tomorrow, they are planning to celebrate Mothers Day (May 9th) by picketing an event called "Shop Israel." This event, taking place at a Hebrew school in Watertown, is a mini-trade show in which vendors of products made in Israel display their wares for one day. The pro-PLO crowd is going to...
  • Freep the pro-PLO, anti-Israel crowd in Boston this week (4/23-25)

Looking for a few water-resistant Freepers! ------------------------------------------------------------------------ The anti-Iraq war crowd has largely gone home to sulk, but another group of appeaseniks has reared its ugly head this week. Their position is anti-USA, anti-Israel, and pro-PLO. In other words, they've never met a terrorist they didn't like, but they are all hot & bothered whenever a country (such as the USA or Israel) asserts its right of self-defense. This week they are holding up "STOP" signs at busy intersections and blaming the USA and Israel for the violence in the Middle East. I have appended the text of their press...
  • "A FUNERAL FOR THE LEFT" (An idea for Freeper activists)

    04/15/2003 3:09:20 PM PDT · by A_Conservative_in_Cambridge · 23 replies · 200+ views
During the week of May 2 - 9, the sad remnants of the "peace" (i.e., "appeasement") movement are hoping to make a media splash by holding an event called "A Funeral for Democracy" on college campuses. The sponsor is an alleged "student" group called the Student Peace Action Network (SPAN), which appears to be a front for commie sympathizers (see Michael Tremoglie's article at http://www.frontpagemag.com/Articles/ReadArticle.asp?ID=5039). The "Funeral" arrangements can be examined at http://www.studentpeaceaction.org/act.html. In my humble opinion, this event may present a wonderful opportunity for freedom-loving folks to turn the left's silly message upside down and to speak the truth....
  • George Schultz speaking at MIT on Wednesday, April 9th

    04/08/2003 7:50:40 AM PDT · by A_Conservative_in_Cambridge · 5 replies · 204+ views
This lecture is notable for two reasons. (1) Dr. Schultz was among the chief architects of President Reagan's successful effort to topple the "Evil Empire." (2) My reliable sources indicate that the MIT leftists may be planning to cause havoc at this event, since Dr. Schultz does not subscribe to the Gnome Chomsky theory of foreign policy. I am planning to attend, and I invite fellow Freepers to join me in support of Dr. Schultz. George Shultz, former Secretary of State in the Reagan Administration, is being honored as an MIT alumnus (Ph.D. in Economics, 1949) for his contributions to...
  • Support the Troops rally in HARVARD SQUARE!

    04/05/2003 7:44:00 PM PST · by A_Conservative_in_Cambridge · 60 replies · 655+ views
There was an impressive show of support for our troops and our Commander in Chief this afternoon in Harvard Square, Cambridge. Yes, you read that correctly: HAHVUD SQUARE! Right in the middle of zip code 02138, "the most opinionated zip code in America" according to a popular local T shirt. I estimate that there were at least 25 of us waving the Stars and Stripes and cheering for the good 'ole US of A. The cold and dampness were dispelled by the enthusiastic response we got from many bypassers. The horn blasts from passing fire trucks and ambulances were particularly...
  • Report from Boston, Massachusetts: Patriots face to face with Appeaseniks from A.N.S.W.E.R.

A brief report from "behind enemy lines" at Park Street, Boston --------------------- A merry band of weather-resistant patriots was on hand this afternoon to greet an Appeasenik rally at Park Street. My Fellow Freepers included Lev the photographer and Aaron the poet. We handed out "FREE IRAQ" posters, an "ANSWER is not the Answer" flyer, and some brilliant propaganda pieces from www.protestwarrior.com (check it out). Most of the appeaseniks didn't know quite what to make of us, but there were about a half-dozen "thugs for peace" [sic], at least one of whom was from ANSWER. The thugs got VERY agitated...
  • Calling all Freepers to Park Square, Boston Wed 3/26 at 4:30 p.m. !

The Boston-area "appeasement at any cost" crowd is gathering again today (Wednesday, March 26th) at 5 pm at the Park Street T Station in Boston. The sponsor is United for Justice with Peace [sic], and their slogan is as follows: "Join us in sending a message to George Bush against his brutal [sic] invasion of Iraq. Join us in mobilizing for peace [sic]. Join us in building a movement for justice [sic]." [uh oh, I think I'm going to be sic . . . ] In order to add a note of realism and sanity to these proceedings, I will...
