The anti-Iraq war crowd has largely gone home to sulk, but another group of appeaseniks has reared its ugly head this week. Their position is anti-USA, anti-Israel, and pro-PLO. In other words, they've never met a terrorist they didn't like, but they are all hot & bothered whenever a country (such as the USA or Israel) asserts its right of self-defense.
This week they are holding up "STOP" signs at busy intersections and blaming the USA and Israel for the violence in the Middle East. I have appended the text of their press release at the end of this message. You can find out more at their Web site (http://www.bcpr.org/events.html)
I will be there on Wednesday evening at the intersection of Mass Ave and Newbury Street in Boston with a STOP sign of my own. ("STOP the suicide bombers" and/or "STOP the terrorist occupation of Judea and Samaria"). I am looking for a few water-resistant Freepers to join me tomorrow and/or to cover the Thursday morning, Thursday evening, and Friday morning shifts if at all possible. If prior experience is any indication, the Palestinian Fan Club will probably cut short its visit if there are sufficient numbers of us to confront and contradict their malicious propaganda.

Jewish Women for Justice in Israel/Palestine (JWJIP) invites you to join our STOP Campaign from April 22 to April 25.
Holding large STOP signs, we will stand at busy intersections. The STOP slogans include:
"STOP Bulldozing Palestinian Homes" "STOP US Military Aid to Israel" "STOP Starving the Palestinians"
We will also be leafletting cars and pedestrians about the ongoing assault against the Palestinian people. We need people at each shift to hold signs and to leaflet.
The shifts and locations are:
* Tuesday, April 22: 5:30 - 6:30, Harvard Square * Wednesday, April 23: 5:30 - 6:30, Mass Ave Bridge, Boston side, near Newbury St. * Thursday, April 24: 7:30 - 8:30 A.M., Central Square, 5:30 - 6:30 P.M., Davis Square * Friday, April 25: 12:00 - 1:00, Harvard Street and Commonwealth Ave., Allston
