This is a serious thread, I am not joking about this issue. I was talking to a very respected surgeon earlier tonight, and that was their question to me. Columbia is a teaching hospital, the surgeons don't get as much experience, they have to also teach. Plus even among the City's teaching hosiptals, it's not the best. So why Columbia?
