At this point, the American public should be getting combat pay for watching any of these Democratic debates. While there weren’t any massive unanswered attacks at this debate in South Carolina, it’s become clear that Elizabeth Warren is shifting her goals. Warren, who was once the front-runner before there was actual voting, has come to the realization that she’s got no shot of winning the nomination for herself. But she could definitely position herself as a vice presidential candidate for Bernie Sanders. So Warren continued her chosen role as “attack dog sicced on Mike Bloomberg” tonight while deliberately walking around...

When I was a registered midwife in Australia (for just over 3 decades, interspersed with time in Indonesia), I learnt many interesting things. Attitudes to the presence of a male in the profession were open and warmer in Catholic hospitals than in public hospitals. Generally speaking Catholic hospitals had a touch of warmth in most things compared to the secular places. Vietnamese people were also very open to a male presence in midwifery compared with any other ethnic group. The Vietnamese men were the ones least likely to be uncomfortable if the midwife was a male. It was probably a...

President Trump knew that it was unreasonable and unsafe for the US economy to be so dependent on China. He was ridiculed for his tariffs which now appear to have prevented a major economic catastrophe due to US companies moving their operations out of China over the past couple years. Last night, Melissa Francis from FOX Business Network, was on Tucker Carlson Tonight and she shared this observation: Because he [President Trump] started this trade war that was costing companies money, they went out and set up different ways that, well maybe we can get this from here, here’s our...

I think that when the media report that Sanders plans new spending of $60 trillion over 10 years, the eyes of many people will glaze over. What's a trillion? A trillion is one thousand billion, and the population of the United States is about 1/3 of a billion. Therefore, every trillion of annual spending amounts to $3000 of spending per American. So extra annual spending of $6 trillion that Sanders has proposed amounts to $18,000 of spending per American. Do Americans think a family of 4 can afford $72,000 more in taxes a year? Even if you wrongly assume that...

From the r/The_Donald subreddit "(Former, as of minutes ago, top mod of the last few years here) First they changed upvote algorithms to keep us from reaching the masses. Next, they outright censored us from /all. Then, they quarantined us, to make it difficult to even see our words, much less spread them. Then, one by one, they added new rules to stifle what would could even say behind the quarantine. Users were sitewide banned, automod size increased to prevent you from speaking freely. Still not enough, they decided to start banning us for even liking content we see, things...

As of January 21st, China’s Communist Party confirmed 473 cases of the Coronavirus, mostly concentrated in Mainland China, Wuhan Provence, but the world doubted the accuracy of what was reported, particularly since the method for counting confirmed cases keeps changing. The most current confirmed cases are 79,498 with total deaths reported at 2,621. Even as China says the spread is slowing, globally the spread is picking up. Particularly troubling is what is happening in Italy, with 3 reported cases last week and 219 and 5 deaths reported today. At this writing, 33 countries have reported cases and this pandemic is...

Earlier today Dr. Nancy Messonnier, an official in the Centers for Disease Control (CDC), held a conference call with media and pushed a panic narrative around the Coronvirus that ran counter to the Trump administration. What makes the statements by Dr. Messonnier even more interesting is the fact she is the only sister of former DOJ Deputy Attorney General Rod Rosenstein. Dr. Messonnier, director of the CDC’s National Center for Immunization and Respiratory Diseases (link) told reporters on the call: “We are asking the American public to work with us to prepare for the expectation that this could be bad.”...

If you’re like most people, you’ve probably forgotten about John Kasich. Hard to blame you. People don’t really get much more forgettable than John Kasich. . . . Kasich’s website says Kasich for America is dedicated to “[returning] civility and decency to our national discussion.” Keep sending Kasich money and you can be part of Making America Decent Again.

If you've been watching Pete Buttigieg out on the stump, you might feel like you're experiencing a little déjà vu. The Recount went back and found numerous instances of the South Bend mayor imitating President Barack Obama's famous speeches.

The liberal Spanish-media giant Univision has been sold. Media executive Wade Davis is heading up a private group to buy a majority stake in the company and will be its new CEO. Davis has given $8,300 to Democrat politicians since 2007 and is a contributor to former South Bend mayor and Democratic presidential candidate Pete Buttigieg’s campaign. He’s been a contributor to major Democratic candidates for years, raising major concerns about potential conflicts of interest.

Joe Biden has had a week or so of some the worst gaffes one could imagine. He once worked on climate change with a dead Chinese foreign leader: Former Vice President Joe Biden mistakenly claimed on Monday that he worked on the Paris Climate Accord with former Chinese leader Deng Xiaoping — who died nearly 20 years before its signing. Biden made the gaffe while citing his accomplishments in President Barack Obama’s administration. “One of the things I’m proudest of is getting passed, getting moved, getting in control of the Paris Climate Accord,” Biden said in a speech at the College of...

VIDEO According to CNN, memes have become "weaponized" and now the "Meme Wars" represent an existential threat to our society. Ironically, their panicked reactions to the memes are even more hilarious than the memes themselves.

When it comes to The View‘s co-hosts, they certainly aren’t feeling the Bern. On Tuesday morning, the panel tore into Sen. Bernie Sanders for praising Fidel Castro’s “literacy program,” a sentiment that he doubled down on during a town hall on Monday night. For once, the panel was in agreement that Sanders’ defense of Castro is a “bad” move, particularly as his remarks may alienate Latino voters in Florida. “It’s no different than saying, ‘Hitler was a good orator,'” ripped Meghan McCain. “It’s that insane!” The View co-hosts wasted no time on Tuesday morning before tearing into Sanders, the current...

On CNN this morning, Alisyn Camerota proved in real-time a Bloomberg aide's allegation that the media has failed to properly vet Bernie Sanders. On New Day, senior Bloomberg adviser Tim O'Brien said that Sanders had advocated that "toddlers should run around naked and touch each other's genitals to insulate themselves from porn." "What?? What??!!," a shocked, astonished, and utterly gobsmacked Camerota exclaimed. Get the rest of the story and view the video here.

When apparent hoaxer Empire actor Jussie Smollett’s charges were controversially dropped last year for allegedly faking a hate crime incident, the twitter page for the Empire writers rubbed it in everyone’s faces. Now, liberal megadonor George Soros is giving millions in an apparent effort to help the controversial Cook County State’s Attorney Kim Foxx, whose office dropped the charges against Smollett, remain in power. The Big Three are ignoring it. A LexisNexis search showed that the Big Three (ABC News, NBC News, CBS News) failed to report this information between Feb. 20-Feb. 24.

Outbreaks confirmed in new countries as Iran’s deputy health minister says he has tested positive for coronavirus. About 50 pupils and staff at a school in County Antrim have been sent home as a precaution against coronavirus after they went on a ski trip to northern Italy. The Cambridge House grammar school group are showing no symptoms and did not visit any of the affected towns – but they were in the Lombardy region and were sent home as a “precautionary” measure, the principal, Elma Lutton, said. Two schools in Cheshire have also taken precautionary steps after half-term ski trips...

Your own best judgment determines what you do, if anything, to prepare for an epidemic of the Wuhan coronavirus. For myself, each round of information, as unreliable as it may be in its specifics, suggests an notable epidemic is more likely than not. There are a few things known with certainty. Pneumonia is, as with all flu, the common mode of fatality. 61.5% of patients requiring hospitalization and intense monitoring ended up becoming "non-survivors". Wuhan coronavirus has an incubation period of three to twenty-seven days, i.e., infected but without symptoms. Fourteen days is typical. Fever and cough are common, diarrhea...
