Intelligent Democrats could end the impeachment nonsense if enough of them leave their brain dead party to start a new party I'll refer to as the "Y2K" party [to use a non-political term]. With enough members, the "Y2K" party could form a new majority coalition with the Republicans to take control of the House. The coalition agreement should allow Y2K members to keep their committee positions and seniority. . The coalition might issue a statement that coalition members want to work together to develop compromise approaches to controversial issues. A compromise on immigration could involve Congress providing money to hire...

During the lead-up to the 2016 elections, I repeatedly wrote that, as a class, Republicans in the House and Senate were the single most hated element of the DC Swamp. This was because of their repeated collective failures to live up to the promises they had made to voters in getting elected. On the campaign trail, House and Senate Republicans sounded like Ronald Reagan, promising to go to Washington and beat up on those Democrats and President Obama, promising to get rid of the Obamacare atrocity, promising to rein in ObamaÂ’s regulatory reign of terror, promising to use the filibuster...

Downtown San Diego — Jane Elliott is used to speaking her mind. At 85, the fiery anti-racism activist doesn’t wait for an introduction before stealing the microphone at a packed San Diego event Saturday. “Can I say something yet?” she asks the event’s organizer, the Rev. Shane Harris, who’s been delivering announcements and awards at the podium for the past half hour. The People’s Alliance for Justice is holding a reception to honor Women’s History Month, shining a spotlight on five women who are leading social justice in San Diego. But Elliott is the headliner.

I use a lot of dangerous drugs. Well, not me personally, but on my patients. Of course, I use dangerous drugs only when the disease I’m treating is more dangerous than the drug. In diseases that are not life-threatening, naturally I avoid dangerous drugs and try to stick with safer therapies. Chemotherapy drugs can save your life, but they can also have significant side effects. Side effects that you would not tolerate if you were treating a sinus infection. But if you have cancer, and you’re trying to avoid dying, it may make sense to take a chance on side...

HERSHEY, PENNSYLVANIA — Supporters of President Trump began lining up early in the morning, braving the rain to claim their seat in the Giant Center, a 10,500-seat multi-purpose arena in Hershey, PA. Those lucky enough to get inside will be treated to a coveted twin-billing, as Vice President Mike Pence is also scheduled to be in attendance. As evidenced below, Trump supporters were quite eager to show their support for the President.

The genius of the ‘Islam is right about women’ stunt Posters bearing that message have appeared in a town in Massachusetts. No one knows how to react. Alaa al-Ameri 26th September 2019 Share Topics Culture Free Speech UK USA Trolling the woke left has become a popular pastime. It can be clever and funny, but it can just as often be a crude attempt to elicit outrage for its own sake. Rarely, however, does something show up that is easily dismissed as ‘trolling’, but which is so remarkably incisive and apt that it rises not only to the level of...

Morning Joe absolutely unloaded on Elizabeth Warren this morning. The proximate cause was the release of her memo on behalf of a corporate client seeking to avoid responsibility for cleaning up a toxic-waste site. But the broader issue addressed was her lack of authenticity/honesty across the board. John Heilemann warned: "When there’s a whiff of fraudulence about a candidate, it’s a huge problem, and that is what the Warren people know is her weakness. They see it in her numbers; they see it in her polling." Steve Schmidt was absolutely brutal. He said of Warren: She has "a tremendous talent...

It’s freakin amazing how FBI Director Wray and IG Horowitz, can read the IG report and conclude that nothing is wrong in the FBI, no one was partisan, and there were only a couple of slip ups. What! Really? Long before Comey was sacked I knew that the FBI just wasn’t right, pardon the pun. After Comey, President Trump hired Dir. Wray. On paper Wray looked solid, BUT after the first couple of months I realized that he was a full-fledged Swamp denizen. And as investigation after investigation wore on it became apparent that the entire FBI, from Wray all...

Ok, if you’re still sitting around worrying that Attorney General William Barr has gone all wobbly – even after yesterday’s pointed statements by he and U.S. Attorney John Durham in response to the IG Report – then I think I may have found your cure. Earlier today, MSNBC aired an interview involving one of their hack reporters and Attorney General Barr, and boy, is it epic. Mr. Barr is making no bones about his continued consistent views on what he bluntly still refers to as the “spying” on the Trump Campaign by the Obama FBI, and is not backing off...

In a bid for Latino votes, Democratic presidential candidate South Bend Mayor Pete Buttigieg proposed that "we end the artificial immigration crisis by returning the land stolen from Mexico by US aggression during the mid 1800s. It's unconscionable that the Trump Administration is persecuting Mexicans who are only trying to recover their own stolen property." "If California, Nevada, Arizona, New Mexico, and Texas were to be ceded back to Mexico there would be no incentive for Latinos to try to illegally enter the United States," Buttigieg claimed. "And all of the buildings Americans erected on the stolen lands could be...

Every day, women become less of a minority amongst American gun owners. The trend data shows that women feel responsible for their own protection and are taking the necessary steps to ensure it. Even more interesting is the quietly growing number of females who are participating in self-defense firearms courses that go beyond the basics. What these courses offer are aspects of shooting that relate directly to real life. Spatial and situational awareness as well as firearm manipulation techniques are just a few of those concepts. The combination of these skill sets begins to introduce a new shooter to thinking...

However, not all Democrats are on board with impeachment which can pose a huge problem. A group of rogue, vulnerable Democrats are spooked and floating censuring President Trump instead of impeaching him, Politico reported on Monday. But the Dem leadership is claiming they won’t be using any tools such as pressure or coercion to “whip the votes” to make sure the entire Democrat Caucus is on board with impeachment?

The farcical hearings yesterday were intentionally conducted on the very day the IG report was released so as to be a shiny object distracting the country from findings of the DOJ Inspector General. To add more farce to the pile today dems are introducing two articles of impeachment, presumably the ones that had the best resonance in focus groups- abuse of power and obstruction of justice. As Andy McCarthy notes, it is abuse of power and obstruction of justice to investigate democrat corruption: The public wonders: What’s the rush? After all, Democrats apparently didn’t think the “crisis” was so dire that...

It isn't just the Second Amendment under assault in blue America; the crazed anti-gun nuts want to take away your Nerf guns too! Leave it to New York to start this idiotic idea. The Empire State Consumer Project is part of a nationwide group that lobbies lawmakers for consumer safety, research, and education. The NY faction has decided that this year, the biggest threat to consumers is "assault-style" Nerf guns that shoot foam darts and contribute to much family fun (in my house anyway).... I spent the weekend searching for the meaning of malarkey. One guy I talked to said he thought malarkey was something he ordered at a Greek restaurant. Another said it was Hungarian cabbage soup. A young millennial I interviewed said it was an exotic bird. In my wanderings I talked to another young man who said he believed that malarkey was code for strong strain of Bolivian marijuana. His buddy said it was a county in Ireland.
