A woman who used to write college essays, applications, and resumes for the children of wealthy parents has spoken out about the college bribery scandal. Jaimie Leigh took to Facebook to reveal that she was not at all surprised when she found out that dozens of affluent parents, including Hollywood celebrities like Lori Laughlin and Felicity Huffman, had bribed their children's way into America's top schools. Leigh broke down just how the wealthy get their children into these elite schools, and how it sets up their children for the same opulent lifestyle. 'I think a lot of people seriously have...

Save all babies left vulnerable to the scourge and sin of abortion How many church goers filling Sunday pews at the United Church of Christ, United Methodist Church, Evangelical Lutheran Church of America, Episcopal Church, Unitarian Universalist Association, Christian Church (Disciple of Christ) and Unity Church realize that their pastors publicly stated their support of the abortion chain Planned Parenthood twice in the past two years? How many parents still take their babies to these pastors for Holy Baptism?

"Fake News" is an inadequate classification. It fails even to begin to approach describing the complete scope of manufactured opinion. A high proportion of what nearly everyone believes is programmed by high wizards of opinion formation. This fact is reflected in the title of a recent book by one of the few honest reporters we have, Sharyl Attkisson, "How Shady Political Operatives and Fake News Control …What You Think" … (besides "What You See" and "How You Vote"). A good start at understanding the full scope of how your thinking is a commodity to be traded to the highest bidder,...

VIDEO The question has to be asked, especially after watching Chuck Todd interview Beto O'Rourke in Iowa for "Meet The Press." Normally Todd interviews guests while sitting behind a desk. However, during his O'Rourke interview, Todd conducted the interview on his feet raising questions as to whether he is only as tall as a Hobbit.

“Whereof one cannot speak, thereof one must be silent.” - Ludwig Wittgenstein Titled “Shibboleth” this 2007 art installation by Doris Salcedo took the form of a 548-foot long, meandering crack in the floor of the Tate Gallery, a hairline crack at one end which expanded to a few inches of width and two feet of depth at the other. Behold the Left’s newest shibboleth: One cannot accuse a Muslim of being anti-Semitic because that defines you as Islamaphobic. And if you don’t believe me just ask poor Chelsea Clinton who was bullied into an apology for calling out Omar’s anti-Semitism....

Twelve HUGE, damning bombshells dropped this week, spinning this storm into high gear. From the Lisa Page transcripts to McCain’s connection to the dossier, a grand jury investigation into Facebook, massive NXIVM updates, Jeffrey Epstein back on the chopping block, and Andrew Weisman leaving special counsel. And, while Alexandria Ocasio-Cortez was preparing her audition for her role as a congresswoman for New York, Paul Ryan was sabotaging democrat subpoenas. Meanwhile, Hollywood’s being sliced and diced for paying off colleges and Ivy League Schools to get their children admitted. Of course, this is only the beginning of investigations into nefarious actions...

Yesterday we posted a video of Leen confronting Chelsea Clinton at a vigil for the victims of the white supremacist New Zealand mosque massacre. Today, we woke up to over 100,000 people talking about it on Twitter. Needless to say, this is not what we expected. We went to the vigil for one reason: to grieve the loss of innocent lives that were stolen from this world by vile hatred. We wanted to join our friends and colleagues in a time of heartbreak and agony, to remember the 49 Muslims who were murdered for being Muslim. As a Jewish American-Israeli...

Angered that the legislature passed a law protecting the unborn from being killed once a heartbeat is detected, Rep. Dar’shun Kendrick (D-Lithonia) has introduced a bill she calls a “Testicular Bill of Rights.” “This will level the playing field by establishing the same kind of regulations infringing upon men’s bodies that Republicans have imposed on women’s bodies,” Kendrick contends. The provisions of her bill include: (1) require men to have their partner’s permission before an erectile dysfunction medication can be prescribed; (2) ban vasectomies and punish doctors who perform them; (3) punish men who have sex without a condom; (4)...

About a year ago, Princeton philosopher Robert P. George came to Chapel Hill, North Carolina to speak about civil discourse and diversity of thought with the UNC system Board of Governors. He returned on February 8, but this time he came with Cornel West, a long-time friend and philosopher at Harvard University, as guest speakers for Duke University’s Kenan Distinguished Lecture in Ethics. Instead of directing their message to policymakers, George and West came to speak face-to-face with students, faculty, and local citizens. The two spoke about how they navigate their vastly different political views while maintaining a strong friendship,...

The popular Glock handguns announced their new Glock 43X back in January at Shot Show and gun guru Hickok45 had a chance to shoot this new Glock. While he says this Glock doesn't fit his way of use, he does give it a pretty good review. Here are some differences compared to the Glock43. The width of the slide of the 43X is exactly the same as the 43. However, the 43X frame is a little wider, We can’t say we like the idea of an all-new magazine design that isn’t compatible with older models. Still, this firearm is probably...

Not long ago, to support Great Britain’s departure from the European Union remained the hoppy heady preserve of the corduroyed English fruitcake. Only the niche, and utterly mental clung to such opinions. Those trifling oddities, blimpish and better suited to reliving colonial exploits in faraway lands, were not of polite society. To be a Euroskeptic invited the label of weirdo, or, if they liked you—“eccentric.” That argument was settled. Britain, and indeed the world, owed and pinned its future not to outdated concepts such as nationhood, borders, or common culture—oddities, pined for by oddities. To be British was embarrassing, and...

Today’s Campaign Update (Because The Campaign Never Ends) The shallowest man on the planet. – Over the weekend, Irish Bob O’Rourke compared bureaucrats at the EPA who write climate-related regulations to the thousands of incredibly brave American soldiers who landed on the beaches of Normandy on D-Day. I knew a couple of those men in my younger days, and I’m frankly glad they are no longer around to witness such abject nonsense emerging from the mouth of a candidate for the U.S. presidency. Absolutely disgraceful. Irish Bob also had to issue his first apology to the social media outrage mob...

Subtitle: Render the Constitution Enforceable. While we enjoy yet another year of the Trump Renaissance, we should still consider the future. One thing is certain. The Trump era ends no later than January 20th 2025. Then what? Shall we risk our Liberty on replacing President Trump with another person of superior public virtue The horrid fact remains that Congress is but a shadow of its 1787 design. Most members would gladly never cast another recorded vote if it ensured reelection. As a consequence, Congress, through both neglect and assignment, watches without complaint the drift of its powers to the executive...

Stop-and-frisk is down 98 percent from its peak, but the New York Civil Liberties Union can’t stop complaining. In a new report, the civil rights group complains that the 12,000 stops in 2017 — down from nearly 700,000 in 2011 — still disproportionately involved black and Hispanic males. It claims that young minorities are targeted in white neighborhoods (Tribeca, Greenwich Village), not just high-crime majority-black and Latino precincts in The Bronx and Brooklyn. This is just nuts, because stops these days overwhelmingly come only on the basis of a civilian complaint or seriously suspicious behavior by the individual who’s stopped....

There was no let up in sight for devastating floods across the U.S. Central Plains states that have already killed two people, torn apart homes and businesses and cut off small towns, forecasters said on Sunday. Water levels were expected to rise through the week, according to the National Weather Service, prompting evacuations in communities along the Missouri River on the Nebraska and Iowa border, as well as the Elkhorn and Platte rivers in Nebraska. “We’re looking at widespread flooding that continues until at least early next week in the Plains and Midwest region,” said meteorologist Marc Chenard with the...

While you sit and read about intellectual property in a boutique law firm where Abelino is now, you feel all warm and cuddly, well, that’s what the Trib thinks, or, hell, “Lala” land is in the water downtown. The “favors” are in their third or fourth generation now and everyone owes everyone something from back during the Davidian thing, or TWIN PEAKS, or something that happened in 1958, who the hell knows. The truth is that Abel did what he did and soon the County will file a motion that says Abel acted on his own outside the scope of...

U.S. Rep. Ralph Abraham is urging President Donald Trump to consider Louisiana for the future headquarters of Trump’s proposed Space Force. The Republican congressman wrote a letter to the president , suggesting Louisiana was an "ideal location" because of its strong existing relationships with the military and NASA. Abraham, who is running for governor, says Space Force would "fit perfectly" at Barksdale Air Force Base in Bossier City. He notes NASA's existing Michoud Assembly Facility in New Orleans has built components for the nation's space program for decades...
