The mockudrama "Battle for Haditha" is going to be making its US premeire in May. As part of the publicity blitz for the fictionalized version of the incident at Haditha, Eliot Ruiz, who portrays Cpl. Ramirez (aka Staff Sgt Frank Wuterich) is making the rounds in his hometown of Philly. It's disgusting that a worthless piece of fiction is presented as a "docudrama" of the events on November 19, 2005. But what is worse is former Marines portraying those whose honor and service were forever tarnished in the Murtha-inspired witch-hunt. "...When I first heard about Nick's film I wasn't sure...

OBAMA'S DIMESTORE 'MEIN KAMPF' by Ann Coulter April 2, 2008 If characters from "The Hills" were to emote about race, I imagine it would sound like B. Hussein Obama's autobiography, "Dreams From My Father." Has anybody read this book? Inasmuch as the book reveals Obama to be a flabbergasting lunatic, I gather the answer is no. Obama is about to be our next president: You might want to take a peek. If only people had read "Mein Kampf" ... Nearly every page -- save the ones dedicated to cataloguing the mundane details of his life -- is bristling with anger...

By LTC(RET) Dave Grossman, RANGER, Ph.D.,author of “On Killing.” Honor never grows old, and honor rejoices the heart of age. It does so because honor is, finally, about defending those noble and worthy things that deserve defending, even if it comes at a high cost. In our time, that may mean social disapproval, public scorn, hardship, persecution, or as always, even death itself. The question remains: What is worth defending? What is worth dying for? What is worth living for? - William J. Bennett - in a lecture to the United States Naval Academy November 24, 1997 One Vietnam veteran, an...

James Carville, long-time political advisor to the Clintons explained that calling New Mexico Governor Bill Richardson a “Judas” for endorsing rival Senator Barack Obama (D-Ill.) for president was “mild” compared to what is yet to come. “I was going easy on the guy,” Carville alleged. “If I’d wanted to get tough I would pointed out that Richardson has lost the privilege of swallowing anymore of Bill Clinton’s semen.” Richardson denied that he deserved either the remarks or being “cut off from life’s ambrosia.” “It’s unfair,” Richardson complained. “Did I rat on them when they took bribes from the Chinese government?...

Today April 5th Is My Birthday, I turned 77 Ken Hughes April 05, 2008 There´s a certain joy in living three quarters of a century [plus], it´s something not everyone can manage to do. There are exceptions of course there´s a lady in Detroit who just turned 113 and is still active. I have a sister kicking down the doors leading to 90. I have another sister and a brother in their mid 80´s, longevity in my family is the rule not the exception. I´m not sure why some live comparatively health lives beyond the norm and others suffer health...

Friday, April 04, 2008 Huckabee Jealousy Behind Anti-Mitt for VP Movement? Posted by: Matt Lewis at 9:10 AM Some conservative leaders are now publicly opposing Mitt Romney's consideration for VP. This is from the Government is not God PAC website:More than 20 leading social conservatives signed an open letter to Senator John McCain expressing their displeasure over the prospect of an “M&M” ticket being pushed by Karl Rove, Sean Hannity and others in the economic wing of the Republican Party. Among the signers are those, such as Paul Weyrich of the Free Congress Foundation, who once supported Mitt Romney and now publicly regret it. ...

LANSDOWNE, Pa. - Sen. John Kerry reached out to veterans here on Barack Obama's behalf Saturday, saying he believes Obama is more prepared to be commander in chief than Ronald Reagan and Bill Clinton were when they took office. Kerry told the crowd he did not think Obama would be victimized by GOP attacks the way he was in 2004 by the "Swift Boat Veterans for Truth." Kerry took responsibility for not fighting the Swift Boat assaults more effectively, but he said advisors, including Bill Clinton, suggested he not defend himself aggressively. "We didn't lose to them, I didn't lose...

“On the Road and at the Table” (Luke 24:13-35)Many of you I’m sure have seen this painting before. The original German title is “Gang nach Emmaus,” the “Walk to Emmaus,” by 19th century Swiss artist, Robert Zünd. It’s a picture of Christ and the two disciples on the road to Emmaus. Of course it’s based on the Holy Gospel for today. It’s a lovely painting. And what a wonderful walk it must have been! To have Jesus there at your side as you walk along! You feel like you’d like to put yourself into the picture, so you could just...

How The Few Can Put Their Values Ahead Of The Many And Hurt Our Nation In the Process: Religious Liberty Again Under Attack RFFM.org Commentary by Daniel T. Zanoza It was a wonderful moment for the state of Illinois and, hopefully, a precursor to a wave that might sweep the nation. Late last year, the Illinois General Assembly passed a bill titled the Silent Reflection and Student Prayer Act. Then, state legislators overrode a veto by a Democratic Governor with an overwhelming bipartisan margin. It was something special. Elected officials overcame politics, and then the influence of special interest groups,...

As expected, the Pat McHenry story we featured here on Conservative Punk found it's way to Countdown on MSNBC. Also as expected, the staff over at Countdown fails to fact check and repeats a lie floated by the lefty blogs that had been debunked hours earlier! Filling in for Keith Olbermann was that handsome young man Rachel Maddow.

"A different relationhip with Israel: key to Middle East peace" was posted at my.barackobama.com--Barack Obama's official campaign Web site--on February 16, 2007. This is more than a year ago, and there is no way Obama can claim that Tony Wicher is a Clinton or Republican operative who snuck distasteful material onto his Web site to make him look bad. The treatment of the Palestinians by Israelis is the number one cause and justification for terrorism. As long as it goes on the terrorists can justly claim moral equivalence. As long as the United States continues with its current unqualified support...

With the current slump in housing sales it's easy to forget that just several years ago Worcester County was riding the crest of a real estate bonanza. It was at that time my wife and I jumped-onto the realty bandwagon. Subsequently, the bandwagon threw us off and then paused just long enough to back-up and run over us several times for good measure. From a start in April of that year, when we were living comfortably in our own home, we soon became "displaced persons," literally out in the street with no place to call our own. At that time,...

We've all seen the Absolut Vodka ad which shows Aztlan having taken over a huge section of the US. Absolut, being a Swedish vodka, might want to look at how their country has treated the Sami (Lapps) through history. Are there any FR Photoshoppers who could mimic the Absolut Aztlan ad, only showing Scandinavia with the country of Sweden vastly shrunken to reflect the new nation of Lappland or Samiland? The Swedes appropriated land from the Sami and also used them as forced labor in mines at one time, so who are these clowns to lecture us about anything? Here's...

Tony Wicher’s “My Favorite Antisemite” at the Official Website of Barack Obama 2008 Presidential Campaign attacks the Zionist Thought Police and then quotes Desmond Tutu, who suggests that the “powerful Jewish Lobby” will fall like Hitler, Mussolini, Idi Amin, and other dictators. When circulating this story to your associates, please keep the following in mind: (1) This is Barack Obama’s official campaign site, and it is under his editorial control. (2) Tony Wicher’s material cannot be written off as a hit and run smear job by a Republican or Clinton operative. His point score, a measurement of his activity at...
