Take a spin through the conservative media ecosystem - or listen to most of the Republican presidential primary field - and you’ll learn one major takeaway: The “woke mind virus” has fully infected America’s largest corporations. A non-exhaustive list of companies that personalities on Fox News have derisively called “woke” over the last couple years - for reasons spanning featuring trans people in ad campaigns to running corporate DEI programs - includes Bud Light, Hershey’s, Pizza Hut, Walmart, Nike, Kaiser Permanente, Chick-Fil-A, the whole airline industry and the weapons manufacturer Lockheed Martin. Naturally, conservative influencers are taking the opportunity to...

Kid Rock was allegedly spotted at a concert drinking a Bud Light this week, only months after the conservative rocker helped spearhead a boycott of the brand with a viral video of him gunning down cases of the beer. The images, which appeared to have been taken without his knowledge, generated mockery across social media, with users accusing him of being a hypocrite for trashing the brand and then consuming it just a short while later. TMZ published video of Kid Rock while he was at the Skydeck venue in Nashville, Tenn., for a Colt Ford performance on Thursday. The...

WASHINGTON (TND) — The Washington Commanders embraced Bud Light as the football team's official beer partner in a social media post Thursday. The 20-second video shows clips of fans cheering while cheerleaders and players dance to “Bring It On” by SATV Music. It then displays the team’s logo alongside Bud Light’s with the line, “the official beer partner of the Washington Commanders.” Commenters on the post questioned the partnership in light of recent controversy surrounding the beer brand. This has got to be the worst marketing move ever! Here, I thought this new ownership was going to do things differently....
  • Target Corp and Anheuser Busch are close to hitting their Stock Support lows

    08/17/2023 5:51:04 AM PDT · by cotton1706 · 9 replies
Target's closing price yesterday was $128.75. It's lowest recent low was $126.99 on June 9th. It hadn't been this low since July 31st 2020 ($125.88). If stock prices drop below $126.99, expect to see a selloff in the downward direction, as stock-chart buyers and sellers are triggered. The same with Anheuser Busch It's most recent low was $53.40 on 5/31/23. It hadn't been that low since 11/9/22 ($52.11) If BUD stocks drop below $53.40, expect to see a selloff downward.

Kid Rock may have started the anti-Bud-Light campaign, but he certainly has not been the only star to make his feelings known. Most stars have been more subtle than Rock and did not, as he did, choose to shoot up cases of the formerly best-selling beer in the world, but lots of statements have been made. Country-music stars Travis Tritt and John Rich (of Big & Rich fame) have made clear that they won't support the Anheuser-Busch (BUD) - brand anymore. That's been a popular opinion for conservatives who took issue with the brand engaging the transgender social-media influencer Dylan...

Photos and videos posted to social media of Budweiser's beer garage at this year's Sturgis motorcycle rally in South Dakota appear to show no attendees consuming the product. A spokesperson for the Sturgis motorcycle rally told Newsweek via email on Friday that they could not comment without permission from the Sturgis mayor and city council, who oversee the event.

People who attended the Sturgis Motorcycle Rally in Sturgis, SD, steered clear of the Budweiser tent because of Bud Light’s partnership with American transgender influencer Dylan Mulvaney. “I got to tell you right now though, not looking good,” said TikTok user Cycledrag in a video. “As you can tell, Budweiser’s spent an awful lot of money.” A few staff members were spotted hanging behind a Budweiser booth, with one of them flashing the peace sign. These staff members said people can get a Sturgis glass at the tent. Cycledrag moved over and shows a few people standing under the umbrella...

Budweiser showed up with a tent at a major motorcycle event that the company sponsored in the city of Sturgis in South Dakota. The Sturgis Motorcycle Rally is the world’s largest motorcycle rally that began in 1938 by a group of Indian Motorcycle riders. It was originally held for stunts and races. Social media erupted as people saw no one visiting the Budweiser tent or drinking its beer. “ZERO attendees at the Budweiser tent in Sturgis,” one person commented. “This may be the BIGGEST marketing blunder of all time!”

Billy Busch, the heir of Anheuser-Busch, said in an interview that his ancestors would be “rolling over in their graves” over the company’s partnership with “transgender” influencer Dylan Mulvaney. Busch made the remarks in an interview with TMZ host Harvey Levin on Friday. According to Fox2Now, Busch has been on a publicity tour for his new book, Family Reigns: The Extraordinary Rise and Epic Fall of an American Dynasty. During the conversation, Levin asked Busch for his thoughts on Bud Light’s controversy with “transgender” influencer Mulvaney. “I think my family, my ancestors, would be rolling over in their graves. I was at our local grocery store in Hayden, Idaho last night and was looking at the craft beer selection when I came across two beers from Radio Brewing in these retro cans. The names of the brews totally cracked me up. Who would name a Wheat Beer "Idaho Sexy" or a Scotch Ale "Where's Me Pants"? I figure that these retro pinup girls and beer names are going to tweak lots of noses if the word gets out. I love the fun, light-hearted homage to Idaho outdoorsmen and women and the fishing heritage and culture...plus pretty fisher-girls. It's such...

A zoning committee has ordered a northern Wisconsin brewery that has supported Democratic political figures to close its doors. The Oneida County committee revoked Minocqua Brewing Company's permit on Wednesday, Wisconsin Public Radio reported. The committee members said owner Kirk Bangstad violated prohibitions on outdoor sales. Bangstad told the committee he has allowed people to sit outside the establishment but insists he's really just being punished for his liberal views. Bangstad ran for Congress as a Democrat in 2015 and for State Assembly in 2020. Among the beers the brewery offers are Evers Ale, named for Democratic Gov. Tony Evers,...

The Wall Street Journal reported Thursday that "Bud Light sales might never fully regain the ground they have lost to competitors" as stores clear their shelves to make room for other brands... On Thursday, Anheuser-Busch InBev also announced that it would be laying off hundreds of workers. The Wall Street Journal noted that as Bud Light sales continue "cratering," the "biggest beneficiary of Bud Light’s woes" is rival company Molson Coors Beverage. "There are reasons to believe that Bud Light sales might be permanently impaired. Molson Coors Chief Executive Gavin Hattersley said on a conference call with analysts that retailers...

During the intense fighting at Bastogne in 1944, Vincent Speranza went to visit a fellow 101st Airborne Division paratrooper in a makeshift hospital. Speranza asked the man what he could do to help, and the man asked for a drink. Speranza set out to find something for his friend and came across a bombed-out tavern that, improbably enough, still had a functioning beer tap. He filled up his helmet with some Belgian ale and returned to the field hospital. Not surprisingly, other wounded GIs asked Speranza to bring another round, and he continued tending bar for the wounded soldiers, running...

Having grown up in New Jersey, there are plenty of things about the state that I’m not particularly proud of. MTV’s “Jersey Shore,” for example, was not the best look, particularly not for Italian-American New Jerseyans like yours truly. And I remember feeling plenty of secondhand embarrassment watching residents turn every little statewide oddity — from full-serve-only gas, to Action Park’s dismal safety record — into points of burning pride to be loudly squawked about in mixed company. But that embarrassment was just personal. It’s nothing like the professional mortification I’ve felt for the past year watching my home state...

Bud Light suffered another dramatic weekly plunge in sales in the wake of the Dylan Mulvaney fiasco — accelerating the end of the brand’s reign as the nation’s top-selling beer faster than anticipated, according to industry sources. The Anheuser-Busch brand saw sales plummet 26.8% during the week ended July 22 — slightly worse than Bud Light previous week’s decline of 26.1%, according to data from NielsenIQ and Bump Williams Consulting. The dropoff continued a catastrophic trend since Bud Light partnered with the trans influencer April 1 — which sparked backlash and boycotts in conservative regions of the country. Meanwhile, sales...
  • Now Ron takes on Bud Light: DeSantis urges Florida pension fund manager to probe beer giant AB InBev for 'putting social agenda ahead of shareholders' interests' with Dylan Mulvaney campaign

Ron DeSantis wants the state's pension fund to investigate Bud Light-makers AB InBev and possibly explore a lawsuit for putting social activism ahead of shareholders during its partnership with Dylan Mulvaney. The Florida Governor, a 2024 Republican presidential candidate, sent a letter to the fund's interim director Lamar Taylor, where he said that 'all options are on the table after partnering with the transgender influencer caused Bud Light's parent company, Anheuser-Busch, a $27 billion loss. Sales of Bud Light fell yet again over the Fourth of July holiday period as the Anheuser-Busch brand lost more ground to rivals Modelo Especial, Coors Light and Miller Lite. The latest figures show sales of Bud Light dropping 23.6% in the one-week period ending on July 8 compared to the same period last year, according to Nielsen IQ data provided by Bump Williams Consulting. Meanwhile, Coors Light saw its sales numbers soar 30.2% while Miller Lite’s sales jumped 25.3% during the week ending July 8. Sales of Modelo Especial — which is quickly closing in on Bud Light’s two-decade...
  • Bud Light's social media accounts are being slammed with abuse after resuming regular posting since Dylan Mulvaney backlash: 'I'd rather drink urine'

Bud Light critics are flocking to slam the beleaguered beer brand with abuse as it resumes regular posting following a hiatus amid the Dylan Mulvaney fallout. The beer label has been struggling since its April partnership with the 26-year-old transgender influencer sparked a decline in sales, costing its parent company Anheuser-Busch around $22 billion in market cap to date. Bud Light's social media teams retreated into the shadows in mid-April following the backlash and the beer giant disavowed the disastrous campaign. More than two months later - from June 22 - the brand cautiously resumed posting notably more politically neutral...
  • 'Woke-free' Ultra Right beer releases parody ad attacking Bud Light

An ex-Donald Trump campaign manager has cashed in on Bud Light’s disastrous tie-up with Dylan Mulvaney by launching a “woke-free beer” called Ultra Right — and its latest ad is a cinematic parody that takes another jab at the embattled brew. The latest ad for the new beer, called Ultra Right, plays on the comedic action film “Smokey the Bandit,” a 1970s hit about a truck driver who transports an illegal shipment of beer across state lines. “That’s me, Conservative Dad. You’re probably wondering how I got here,” the ad starts while showing founder, chief executive and so-called “Conservative Dad”...
  • Costco just planted the 'death star' on Bud Light cases — a sign that it won't restock the beer amid controversy

Shoppers at Costco have noticed an asterisk on the price tag for Bud Light beer across the beverage aisle. Experienced Kirkland members have seen the sign before and call it the “death star.” It could be an indication that one of the largest retailers in the country may be considering not restocking the troubled beer brand. Here’s a closer look. Casual shoppers would barely notice a small asterisk on a price display above a shelf. These days most of the attention is on the price. However, Kirkland members believe the asterisk has special significance for Costco’s supply chain decisions. The...
